Seven years later.

"Adeia! Sweetie! Come on down for breakfast!" you yell lovingly as you hear your daughter's light footsteps shuffle in her room upstairs.

"Coming mom!" your six year old daughter called back gently.

You chuckle as you continue to fry eggs in the kitchen.

"Mom!" your daughter exclaims as she runs down the stairs excitedly. "My hair is finally tied!" she giggles as you set her plate at the table.

"It looks beautiful honey," you smile as she sits down and digs in.

You lovingly admire your angel who is a splitting image of a man you were once madly in love with.

After that event at the DVD store, you realized that your heart had been shattered beyond repair and attempting to love another would be simply impossible. You'd decided that it was extremely unfair to Lincoln and so, you'd left him with a heavy heart and moved in with Luisa. She helped you get back up on your feet and now you were a single mother, living on your own and working as a language teacher for primary school students.

You sigh as you continue to gently observe Adeia.

You never really went out much since your main focus now was Adeia. She was your life and she was the sole individual to whom all your love was directed at. Granted, whenever you looked at Adeia, you saw Michael when you had just married him.

"Come on baby," you sigh as you take Adeia's empty dish to the sink and wash it. "Time to go to school,"

"Okay mom," she nods as she grabs her school bag. She suddenly stops then gives you those puppy dog eyes - you instantly knew she wanted something.

"What is it this time?" you raise an eyebrow playfully as you fold your arms.

"Mommy..." she says softly in a bid to butter you up. "I want to go to a concert," she batters her eyelids - a trait she'd inherited from you.

"A concert baby? Of what kind?" you continue to observe her coy behavior.

"A music one," she looks at the floor. "Mommy, I really like Michael Jackson and I want to go to his concert," her eyes look sad.

She'd asked you several times before and you'd said no because  - well - you knew why.

"Adeia," you sigh as you shake your head.

"Mom, please!" she begs as she begins to tear up and your eyes widen.

"You really want to see him that bad?" you find yourself finally giving in.

"Yes!" she squeals.

"Fine," your expression turns into a stern one. "If you can finish all your homework in school today then we'll go tonight. I heard he's performing in the city," you say as you shake your head gently.

"Really?!" her eyes brighten up instantly and you instantly recognize it.

She's just like Michael. You think to yourself as you walk with her to drop her off to school.

"Mom! I'm so excited!" your daughter squeals next to you and you try to mimic her enthusiasm, however failing horribly.

The concert had come to an end and you were now waiting in a line backstage to meet the one and only 'Michael Jackson' - or at least to everyone else he was. To you, he was a distant memory you hoped to forget.
