You giggle lightly as you greet Katherine and hand her a plate.

"It seems like you grow more beautiful each morning," she says lovingly and you smile widely at her words.

You'd been staying in the Jackson household for over a year now and they'd practically become your family. You had moved in six months after you'd begun dating Michael because his family simply loved you - and you and Michael were pretty serious.

So now you woke up every morning with a bright smile on your face because you got to see the one man you loved - and the only one you knew you'd ever love. 

"Thank you," you say with a slight blush as Janet gives you a playful push.

"Whatever, clearly not as beautiful as me," she rolls her eyes dramatically and you burst into a fit of laughter.

"Yeah...clearly not..." you pretend to eye her up and down.

She clutches her chest and feigns offense as she rolls her eyes.

"Whatever," she mutters once again, taking a plate for herself. "I'm hungry,"

"It's morning...of course you are," you retort sarcastically as Janet serves herself some breakfast.

"And you should be as well. Why aren't you eating?" she raises an eyebrow, proceeding to sit down next to Katherine.

"I'm not hungry as yet," you shrug. "But I'll eat when Bobby comes over," you say fondly, referring to an old male friend of yours.

One whom you'd been very close with and whom you'd shared some of your deepest secrets with.

"Ah," Katherine smiles. "Well, when will he be here? We'd better leave the house then," she giggles.

"No no," you say frantically. "It's fine,"

"Well Janet and I do have somewhere to be today so it's not much of an inconvenience," she explains softly as you nod and smile.

"So only the boys'll be here," Janet scoffs. "Good luck with that,"

"Oh Janet!" Katherine exclaims playfully. "Don't be mean!"

"I'm not mother!" Janet defends. "I'm just being honest. They're really annoying,"

"Bobby!" you exclaim happily as he enters the front door which you're holding open for him. "I'm so happy to see you!" you giggle as you proceed to close the door.

"Me too Mikayla!" he chuckles. "Come here!" he says enthusiastically, engulfing you in a warm hug.

You pull apart as you hear Michael clear his throat, making his way into the kitchen.

"Oh, don't mind me," he says coldly. "I just came downstairs for some water,"

Michael had agreed to give you some time alone with Bobby to catch up on the years you'd spent apart.
