You fiddle with your fingers nervously as you sit stiffly on your best friend, Luisa's couch.
"Calm down (Y/N)," she says softly, handing you a glass of water.
"Thanks," you say as you smile softly. You take a small sip of the water the set the glass down on the coffee table gently.
You had been at Luisa's house because you were going to see your therapist from there. The reason you were at her house and not your husband's?
Because Michael had no idea that you'd suffered from severe depression and that you'd hidden it extremely well for three years.
You'd begun to see a therapist for your depression about a month after you had married Michael but you were far too afraid to admit that to him. You feared that he would leave you if he'd found out - just like everyone else in your life before him had.
Hence, every time you had an appointment with your therapist, you would lie to Michael and tell him that you were going to spend the day at your best friend's house. You decided that it would be safer to go to your therapist from her house because in that way, none of the staff at Neverland would suspect.
Given the fact that you were young and that Michael trusted you immensely, he let you go every single time without question; wishing you luck and bidding you safety as you went along.
So now, you were to attend one of your many sessions with your therapist and so you'd traveled to Luisa's house to wait an hour before leaving again.
"You look tired," she says softly as she sits down next to you. "I think all this hiding is taking its toll on you,"
"Yeah," you shrug. "But there's no way I'm going to let Michael find out," you say whilst shaking your head.
"He's your husband (Y/N)," she sighs. "I really think you should tell him..I mean...I have thought that for almost three years now,"
"I know," you nod, acknowledging her concern. "But I can't tell him," you shake your head slowly. "He'll leave me. Just like everyone else,"
"Hey," she shrugs as she touches your shoulder lightly. "I'm still here. I'll never leave..remember?" she chuckles and you smile widely at her statement.
"Yeah," you look at her. "I honestly don't know where I'd be without you," you giggle.
"Probably dead. In a dumpster," she rolls her eyes playfully.
"Oh my God!" you push her lightly and begin to laugh. "That got dark real quick,"
"I know," she flips her hair. "I'm awesome like that,"
"Yeah right..." you mutter softly and she exaggerates a gasp.
"I don't believe you!" you clutches her chest and you cover you mouth as you giggle.
"Whatever," you roll your eyes. "I'm too tired for this,"
"I know," she says, calming down. "I think it's time now," she continues whilst glancing at her wrist watch. "You don't want to be late,"
"Yeah," you respond as you stand up slowly. "I'd better get going," you make your way towards the door and turn around before leaving. "Thank you," you smile and hug her.
She hugs you back tightly and whispers. "Good luck (Y/N), take care,"
"Thank you. I will,"

"Well Mrs. Jackson," your therapist, Ameena smiles politely as you sit down opposite her. "How have you been?"
"Ah..." you sigh hesitantly. "I've been okay I guess," you shrug and she studies your demeanor gently.
