"Wow, this place is..." you let out an ever so slight breath as you stare at the beautifully constructed house in front of you.
"Amazing?" Michael chuckles slightly, wrapping his large hand around your waist. "I knew you'd like it," he smiles as he directs his attention to your face.
"Spectacular!" you giggle a little, turning your head to look up at him - staring into his beautiful brown eyes as you do so.
If not already mentioned, you and your husband are standing in front of an extremely well designed house.
You and Michael had been married for over a year now and life was mapping out well for the two of you. Things were functional, to say the least. Granted, with Michael's upcoming 'Bad' tour pressing down upon the two of you like an omnipresent wave of depression - it was undoubtedly evident that there was undeniable tension between you and Michael.
However, neither of you had refused to address the constantly rising tension between the two of you; instead - you both opted to behave as if the problem didn't exist.
All aforementioned aside, both Michael and yourself already had a home. In fact, Neverland was the perfect home in your opinion.
'Perfect' meaning that it was large enough for the two of you to spend time apart from each other whenever arguments occurred.
And arguments occurred way too often.
So why is it that the two of you are currently standing in front of another, considerably smaller, house?
Well, since Michael had begun preparations for his upcoming 'Bad' tour, it was decided by management that the two of you move to an area that was more accessible and closer to transit points. Of course, this arrangement would only last for about a year or two so it was safe to say that this was a temporary home of yours.
In actual fact, you internally despised the idea of the proposed arrangement put forward by management - however, since things had already been less than flowery with yourself and Michael, you'd decided to keep your mouth shut and play along.
On the contrary, now that you were looking at the house...you had to admit that you liked it. There was a strange emotion that the exterior of the house evoked within you and you honestly couldn't explain it.
"Well..." you shrug slightly, diverting your attention away from Michael and back to the house. "I guess you know me well enough then,"
Michael pauses for a moment, the two of you completely aware of your all too familiar mood swing - something which happened quite often. It was most definitely one of the reasons that the two of you fought a lot.
"Well then..." he begins hesitantly before removing his hand from your waist. "Let's go inside, shall we?" he says softly, proceeding to move ahead of you into the house.

"I just asked you to step aside so I could take your bags to the room for you! Why are you upset?!" Michael throws his hands up in the air, clearly frustrated.
"I'm not upset!" you defend loudly. "Stop yelling at me!"
"Forgive me (Y/N)!" he spits sarcastically. "It's hard not to do so when you're getting on my nerves all the time!"
"I'm getting on your nerves!?" you raise an eyebrow in disbelief. "You're the one yelling at your wife!" subtle tears begin to fill your eyes but you blatantly ignore them.
Unfortunately, yelling at each other at unimaginable volumes was rather similar to a movie scene on replay.
Well in your lives at least.
