A small girl was seated in a big hall. Her eyes were red and even the stupidest person would have noticed the girl had cried. No one just could have care. They were all crying too hard to notice the little girl's hurt eyes. In fact. The girl was the one playing along. She gave people hugs. She was being a little hero. Everyone was just too hurt to thank her.

"Why aren't you with everyone else?" A male asked.

The little girl looked up. Her eyes shining with tears.

"I'm too scared to see them," She whispered.

"Do you want me to call your parents over?" He asked.

"No. They won't hear you," the girl said.

"How so?" The male asked.

"Ma is the one being burried in there. Pa is not here. He couldn't face ma," the girl said.

"Wait. Who is taking care of you here?" He asked.

"I walked in alone. I sat alone. I will leave alone," the girl said.

"I can get you home," he said.

"Oh. No worries. I like walking alone. You have time to think," the girl said.

"How old are you?" He asked.

"I'm six," the little one said.

"You aren't supose to be alone at that young," he said.

"I am not. If i really need something, i can go to granny. She is burried just by here," the girl said.

"Do you have anyone alive here?" He asked.

"Nope. Or. There are like 20 people i haven't met inside," She said.

"Can you contact your father about needing a ride?" He asked.

"He isn't likely good to drive. But. I like the forrest. If you really want me to, i can go home now," the girl said.

"Yeah. I think you should go before it gets dark," he said.

"Then i will go. I've been told adults know the best," the girl said.

"Wait. What is your name?" He asked.

"Kathleen," the girl said.

"Are you Irish?" He asked.

"No. Ma was tho. Pa is a Britt. I am half and half," Kathleen said.

"Okay. Go home before it becomes dark," he said.

Kathleen bowed at the male and got her jacket. She then walked out of the door.

It had been almost two years since Kathleen had last be in the Church. Now she was so brave she just sat there. She was ready to see her pa's cold face. She was ready to see the ghost skin and the closed eyes that wouldn't open ever again. Her pa wasn't gonna look at her ever again.

"Why aren't you crying?"

That woke up Kathleen from her mental cries for help.
