Ch. 1 - Meeting with a Tall Woman

This story kinda shows a little of my OC's backstory, in the past he was Steven's and the Crystal Gem's friend.

-This is how James met Blue Diamond-

James, Steven and Greg were dropped off from a bus that immediately drives off.

Greg: "Kamsahamnida- Aw, what's the hurry?"

James: "They probably don't like coming here."

Greg: "Possibly, but why leave us behind like that?"

The three turned to see a huge mountain side and a pathway with large trees.

James: "Yeah, I'm not really digging how this place looks..."

Steven: "The pictures on the book do lead right here though."

Greg: "You sure this is the place?"

Steven: "Yeah, it's hard to explain, but I can feel it."

James looked at Greg confusedly.

James: "He must have some new power or something..."

Greg: "Wouldn't that be great to have gem powers like him?"

James: "If it means living forever."

He just shrugged, making a small chuckle, following the boy. As they walked down the pathway James couldn't help but admire the scenery.

James: "Hey guys, I just wanna thank you two for letting me come along on this search, feels like a vacation doesn't it?"

Greg: "Yeah, kinda makes me want to travel around the world, now that I'm rich."

James: "Ooo! Maybe we should go on a cruise next time, just us three and Connie and the gems!"

Greg: "That sounds like a great idea! What do you think Steven?"

Steven: "Hm? Oh, yeah, good plan..."

He nodded as he was still looking at the book.

Greg: "Huh, sure is pretty here."

Greg said, changing the subject.

James: "So does any of this look familiar to you? Steven?"

Greg and the teen notices Steven was crying those big tears again.

Greg: "Whoa, you okay? It's happening again!"

James: "Jeez, it's like a waterfall coming out of you..."

Steven: "I-I'm fine, let's just keep going."

Greg: "C'mon, let's take a break. I think this mountain is really messing me up."

James: "I think he's right dude, I think the further we go, the more big those tears get."

Steven: "No, guys, this can only mean we're getting closer! C'mon!"

The two looked at each other in worry. But if he wanted to keep going...

They approach a sign attached to a gate reading 'KEEP OUT' in both English and Korean. A smaller wooden sign below it says 'Please' in neat handwriting.

Steven: "Look!"

He said, pointing at the sign.

Greg: "This feels familiar."

James: "How so?"

Greg: "Before I met the gems, there was this sign and fence they put up that had the exact same writing."

James: "I guess this is the place then?"

Steven: "Guys, help me jump the fence."

Greg: "Oh, boy, we're doing this."
