I had just found out that I was chosen to play Betty "perfect girl next door" Cooper. I was over the moon, I had tried to hard for so many years to get numerous roles for TV shows and movies and finally my dream had finally come true all thanks to my mum.
She had pushed me to pursue any career I wanted to achieve.
When I was fourteen she used to drive me eight hours back and forth from Cleveland to New York just for auditions - no matter how small the role was. Even though it mostly ended in the producer ringing and saying "you were great but ...better look next time"
It made me work harder and push myself , I knew I was going to be an actress no matter hard it was and how long it took. It had finally paid off as I just had been cast for a proper acting job not a stupid guest appearance on a cringeworthy science show called Scientastic. I finally had found a project I was comfortable with the plot and was excited for the upcoming weeks ahead.
Monday came around surprisingly quickly, I entered the CW offices with high hopes , an artificial smile to hide my nerves and very sweaty palms for the table read. While waiting I began talking to girl by the name of Madalaine Petsch who had been cast to play Cheryl Blossom we began talking and immediately hit off , we were then joined by a miss Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge) , followed by Casey Cott ( Kevin Keller) , a Ginger male who everyone knew was going to be Archie Andrews and was being held portrayed by KJ Apa . We were all shocked when he began talking as he had a Australian accent. He corrected us and told us he was actually from New Zealand , everyone began to talk amongst themselves and I was semi-listening until I turned around and my jaw dropped.
Cole Sprouse had just walked into the room with newly dyed raven black hair a beige top , brown bootleg trousers and a pair of combat boots completely hipster but I loved it. He cracked a goofy smile and my heart began to pound rapidly and I know it sounds completely stupid and cliche but I could feel butterflies in my stomach. He sat down and introduced him as Cole "the better twin " Sprouse which we all cracked up at, as we were all die hard Suite Life fans and I personally always wanted a Cody Martin in my life.
Everyone began talking to Cole asking him about fame, fortune and fans. He was so incredibly humble about it all and explained how that going to college is what helped him and Dylan stay grounded. That's when Camila screamed out
"Oh my God , I knew you went to NYU. I knew I'd seen you around campus with your hair all long like a hippy! "
Cole said he didn't remember her and she chuckled and said she had seen him at partys but had talked to Dylan a few times. I remained completely quiet during this time as I didn't want to say anything stupid in front of Cole. My nerves were already bad enough. Cole could see that I was anxious and turned around and said "hey you alright "
Before I could give a reply, the executive producer Roberto Aguirre - Sacassa called us all in to begin our first ever table read for Riverdale
The story about a town , a small and the people that live in the town...
