Cole POV
Day one of shooting begins today. I arrive on set early. I'm greated by Roberto the executive producer and Jake Weston the microphone and studio front man who explains everything to me about Jugheads narration and his role in the series. He then asks if I'm ready to begin recording I reply with a "yeah "
As we begin the stroll to the recording room I spot Lili arriving looking even more gorgeous than ever with her blonde hair tied up in the iconic Betty Cooper ponytail. I wave at her like an idiot and turn into the left to the recording studio. Jake explains what to do, I take a glass of water and begin.
After a long day of using my voice and getting used to idea of being on camera again, I hear a knock on the door. Its Lili. Looking radiant dressed in an iconic Betty outfit a pastel pink cardigan and top ,a pair of medium wash skinny jeans and a pair of simple ballet pumps.
"We're going to grab some dinner, wanna come?"
Smiling as she says it.
"yeah, sure great I'll be ready in ten." I reply.
I go to my trailer take of my 'Jughead Flannel' and though on a freshly ironed blue shirt , making sure spray some aftershave on as I don't won't Lili to think I smell straight or have an body odour problem. I meet KJ and Camila outside my trailer.
"God , man you reek! What is that ?" KJ says in his strong Kiwi accent.
"What too much ? Its Contradiction, Calvin Klein by the way" I respond.
" If anything it smells like your a teenage boy trying to impress a girl" Camila jokes.
I laugh it off nervously trying not be to obvious.
"Hey guys you ready?"
I turn my head around its Lili, looking as flawless ever. She had let her hair down and let her blonde ringlets flowing by her shoulder , wearing a black and gold top , a pair of dark grey almost black skinny jeans completed with the cutest pair of slate grey open toe ankle boots.
We all walked down the streets of Vancouver until we reach the Blue Water Cafe a quaint restaurant off the Main Street , we all grab a seat I try to save one for Lili but Ross jumps in beside me. I try not to act too upset, Lili then turns around at everyone ands ask what everyone wants as a drink as she's going up to the bar. She comes back down carrying everyone's drinks.
"Impressive, Reinhart." shouts Ross
"I used to work at a diner back home , Butler! " she answers back.
I didn't like the way Ross called her by her last name as to me it's seems a bit rude, I don't think she liked it did either but I loved the way she responded to him with his last name as a bit of a come back.
We all drink our drinks and eat our food , I begin talking to Camila who tells me to call her Cami as it's easier. She tells me about how 'normal' I was in college. I ask her how what she means and she tells me that we didn't act like we're famous or act like douches. I explained to her that our Dad raised us in the way that if we ever made it 'big' to stay grounded, which we did and hopefully will keep it that way.
She asked me if I was still with Bree, I told her we weren't and that we broke up shortly after graduation. I asked her was she still with Ian she smiled when I said that and was shocked I remembered. She said she was and they would be together three years in September. Seeing how everyone was so happy in their relationships made me feel quite isolated as I hadn't dated anyone since Bree and I was now even more lonely than ever.
I didn't even know if the girl I liked and loved had a boyfriend let alone liked me back...
So guys what you think , I'm open to suggestions. I'm trying to do a Sprousehart fan fic. :)
