Lukas's POV
Fights, Love and Messy Mistakes

She was dancing with Eloise and Connor, but my eyes never strayed far from her. I kept a look out for Kaiyan.

I knew he'd try something. He'd be desperate by now. I spotted movement to my right and I looked over, seeing a flash of black hair and a black suit. I glanced at Avery to see she was still dancing before following the black haired man.

He was walking down the hallway, looking like he knew exactly where to go. Kaiyan.

"I knew you'd show up" I said, making the other man freeze.

I stopped as well. He turned around slowly to face me before peeling back his mask. "Did you now?" He asked, his smirk making me want to punch him.

"What do you want?" I asked, gritting my teeth.

He didn't answer and that only made me angrier. "What are you trying to accomplish? She doesn't like you!" I spat, my hands curling into a fist.

I walked towards him again, keeping my cool as much as I could. He wasn't backing down, he wasn't scared of me but I will make him scared. I was angry that he kept trying to ruin what Avery felt for me.
"I thought I told you to leave her alone" I snarled, my hand reaching for his black jacket.

Finally, he spoke. He growled back. "Don't forget, she liked me first" he replied, fury lacing his tone.

He glared at me as I grabbed his suit.
"There's a difference between like and love Kaiyan and she loves me, if you go near her or touch her one more time I will rip you the fuck apart" I spat, pushing him back.

He stumbled before straightening. "Yeah I'm sure she'll love you when she realises how much of a jerk you are!" He snapped.

I narrowed my eyes. "Leave that out of this" I said, my voice going low.

"Have you told her? Have you told her how much of a jerk you are?" Kaiyan growled.

I launched towards him and grabbed him, throwing him up against the wall. "Shut up!" I yelled.

Kaiyan just laughed. "This whole time I've been your friend, the one time I find something to finally be happy about, you steal it from me!" Kaiyan snapped back, trying to push me back.

I heard a gasp and turned my head to see Avery and Eloise staring at us, their hands over their mouths in shock. I let Kaiyan go and Kaiyan just laughed. "Avery, trust me, you don't want to be with this asshole" Kaiyan said, looking at her.

Avery's eyes darted between us. I grimaced and curled my fist again. "Tell her! Tell her Lukas!" Kaiyan suddenly yelled.

I gritted my teeth, staying quiet. "If you don't! I will!" He yelled.

I took a menacing step towards him but Avery's voice stopped me. "Tell me what?" She asked, her eyes wide.

I looked at her, pleading with her not to go through with this. Kaiyan looked at me before rolling his eyes. "Didn't Lukas tell you? He's a daddy!" Kaiyan said before laughing.

I wanted to kill him. "Oh yes! That girl he left behind! He got her pregnant and when he found out! He moved!" Kaiyan said, turning to look at me.

I watched Avery, watched her eyes dart to mine before widening and tearing up. I was going to kill him. I was going to tear him apart slowly.
I wanted to comfort her but I knew that she'd already made her decision.
