I stare at the quote, silently agreeing with it.
I was laying in bed, on Instagram when a knock sounded on my door. I looked up from my phone and slowly got out of bed. I fixed myself before opening the door.

Connor stood there in a rain jacket, which he was taking off. He looked at me and slowly broke out into a grin. "Did I wake you?" He asked, taking note of my pajamas.

"No I was just lying in bed" I replied, watching water fall from his jacket onto the floor.

"It's raining super hard, so I thought we could go to the movies, its the best time to do it" he said, cocking his head to the side in a cute kind of way.

"Yeah sure, I'll just change" I said, opening the door wider and letting him in.

He walked into the kitchen while I rummaged through my closet for clothes. I ended up picking a Slytherin long sleeved shirt and black jeans. I changed in my bathroom and walked out. Collin was sitting on the edge of my bed.

I sat on Eloise's bed to pull up the zipper on my boots. "You look nice" he said, giving me a small smile.

"Thanks, you look hot" I said before thinking.

I clapped a hand over my mouth and he just laughed, standing up. "Well thank you" he said, holding out his hand.

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. I crashed into his chest. "Oh, sorry" I said, looking up at him.

Why were they all taller than me. It was unfair. "Don't be" he said resting a thumb on my chin.

I knew he was going to kiss me but I didn't want him to. All last night, I had dreamt about Lukas and I wasn't going to play Collin like that. Collin was my friend.

"Collin.." I began to say.

"I know" he cut in.

"I'll wait for you, always" he said, leaning forward and pressing the kiss to my forehead.

He stepped back and gave me his jacket. "I don't want you being rained on and getting sick" he said, as I slipped my arms through the sleeves.

The jacket smelled of rain and him. A woodsy smell that also smelt like fresh cookies. "So what do you want to watch?" He asked, pulling his phone out of his pocket.

"You choose" I replied.

He gave me a quick smile before ordering the tickets online. I locked the dorm room door behind me and trudged down the stairs with Collin in tow. When I reached the bottom step, I stopped.

Lukas was talking to a student at the front door before turning his head to look at me. I frowned before walking past him. Collin followed closely. "Avery wait!" Lukas yelled out.

Collin and I walked out onto the footpath, raining falling fast and hard. I kept close to Collin, ducking my head to stop my hair getting wet. "Avery!" Lukas yelled, stepping out into the rain as well.
