Seth told Josephine to relax and lay down on the couch in the RV. She had already gotten used to the pain by now, it wasn't really hurting her. She'd been through worse so, whatever was to come, she knew she could handle it.

"You got a first aid kit in this beast?" Seth asked Jacob. Jacob had been quiet ever since they started driving. Richie had remained in the back watching Kate and Scott.

Jacob remained silent which only annoyed Seth more. Seth cleared his throat glancing over his shoulder at Josephine, then back at the man and spoke quietly, "Now, I have a girl laying on your seat. She may be acting tough about it but if I don't stitch her up right now, she's going to bleed out. She's lost a lot of blood already. So, do me a damn favor here, Pops, and tell me where the first aid kit is. There is only one song that we are going to be singing on this little road trip, and it ain't 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. Song's called, 'My Way'."

"No way," Josephine spoke up listening in on the conversation, "That's my favorite song, Jacob you're really gonna like it."

Seth smiled back at the girl before continuing what he was saying, "So, if I say make a turn, you're gonna make a turn. If I say don't talk, you don't talk. But if I ask you for the first-aid kit, you're gonna tell-" Seth stopped talking when Jacob pointed above him at a cupboard, "Thank you."

Seth opened it pulling out the white plastic box before kneeling down by Josephine, "Let's get you stitched up, alright? It's going to hurt-"

"I know it will, just get it done with," Josephine said already feeling weak and dizzy.

Seth nodded before lifting her shirt up slightly, exposing her wound in her side. He pulled out the needle and the thin string and had at it. Josephine gripped onto the cushions she was laying on, trying to contain the pain she was feeling as the needle poked through her skin. After a few excruciating minutes, Seth was done and cut the extra string of the stitch off. He then moved onto her shoulder which wasn't as bad as the previous bullet wound, it had only grazed the skin. Rather than putting Josephine through more pain than needed, he only sterilized it before placing a bandage over it. Seth smiled at her, "There, good as new, princess."

"How many more bullets am I going to take for you, Seth?" She asked the man looking in his brown eyes. She found them comforting. She loved brown eyes and she didn't understand how people could hate them or want a different color if they had brown. Her mother had brown eyes and they were probably her favorite part about her.

He sat her up cautiously, "Well, hopefully it's smooth riding from here, okay?"

Seth sat next to her looking at the man driving. "All right, Pops, let's get some things straight because this is going to be real simple. We will reach the crossing at Acuña, you wave your passports, flash your pretty, corn-fed smiles, and then we're gonna sail on through. We'll drop Josie off a little ways from the border and Richie and I will close our deal with our guy in Mexico. After that, we'll go our separate ways. Nobody else is gonna get hurt, you have my word."
