The ringing still echoed through her ears as she sat up taking in a deep breath. She tried moving her arms but she couldn't feeling some sort of restraint. She looked down seeing a white leather straitjacket wrapped around her. Her heart began pounding seeing the bizarre piece of clothing on her as she frantically looked around. She was sitting on a worn down mattress in a white room. The bed and the nightstand were the only pieces of furniture in the room. As she looked around her head began to throb and when she closed her eyes she saw another room. It looked a lot like hers but darker and the white walls weren't white anymore. They were painted with red and spelled out Amaru's name. Only it wasn't red paint, it was dried up blood. Josephine opened her eyes, panting from being startled by the vision.

She only panicked more when she tried to move her arms but couldn't from the strong fabric. Josephine stood up frantically trying to figure out a way to get out of the the restraint. She wanted to wipe her wet cheeks from her cheeks but she couldn't. She was trapped which only made her heart pound harder.

Her eyes searched the empty room and then landed on the nightstand. It was wooden and falling apart just like the mattress she was on. Her eyes focused in on the corner of the nightstand seeing a rusty nail sticking out. She headed over to it and knelt down to the sharp, ordinary object. She raised one of her arms out the best she could before placing the fabric on the nail and yanking down.

The nail poked through the fabric but poked in farther than Josephine had expected it too. It punctured through the leather but it also punctured through her skin causing her to scream as she kept pulling the opposite direction. She finally came to a halt not being able to take the pain anymore but moved her bloodstained arm from the ripped hole she had just made.

Even though she was in a lot of pain, she felt as if she could finally breathe. She took in a deep breath before doing the same thing to the other arm but being more careful not to push the nail too far in. Finally, both hands were free and she looked around the room again. She walked back over to the bed taking the pillow and stripping the case off of it. She tore a strip of white fabric off of it and then tied it around her injured arm in order to stop her wound from bleeding out.

She took another deep breath, trying to slow down her racing heartbeat and turned towards the door. She approached it and looked out the window to a dimly lit hallway. She reached for the door knob wondering what the hell she would do if it was locked but to her surprise, it opened when she twisted the knob.

She walked down the hallway, following the way it went trying not to think too much. The whispers were louder than usual. As she entered to what seemed like a main floor, she stared at a sign that told her where she was.

"Nicotero State Hospital," She read out loud to herself. She stared at it for one more second before looking around again. She needed to reach out for help. As she scanned the room filled with knocked over desks and scattered papers, her eyes landed on a phone. She ran over to it, kneeling down next to the old thing that was on the floor. She picked up the phone hearing a tone and she let out a sigh of relief. She quickly punched in the numbers to Seth's cell phone hoping he would answer. She didn't know how long she had been here.
