Josephine woke up in the lousy cheap motel bed. The sheets were a mess around her, but not over her body since she tossed and turned through the night. The only time she tossed and turned was when Seth wasn't right beside her. Knowing this, she turned over seeing that his presence next to her was absent. She frowned her brows, still coming out of her sleep and sat up in the bed. She glanced down at her arm which was still red but not as bright as last night remembering the events that unfolded. She smiled, still loving the tattoo, even though, she had thoughts late last night that maybe she'd regret it in the morning. She got up from the bed, wondering where Seth had gone. The bathroom was dark indicating he wasn't taking a shower. She trudged to the door seeing that it was unlocked, yawning in her short journey. She opened the door to see Seth sitting on one of the chairs that he must have brought out from the room.

"You sleep in a lot, you know." Seth commented taking notice that the girl was standing there.

Josephine smirked before joining next to him, sitting on the wooden slab that was his arm rest, she swung her legs across him and sat them on the opposite arm rest of the chair.

She found his arm around her waist, which was basically her barricade making sure she didn't fall off. A few months ago she was sure if she did this, he would have just pushed her off of the chair, uncomfortable, but living in very close quarters, both of them got used to each other's company. Even when they bickered like an old married couple. His hand was on top of her feet as he continued to look at the sun starting to raise high up in the sky and she leaned her head against the wall behind him also watching.

"I've always thought sunrises were prettier than sunsets." Josephine comments after a while of silent watching.

"There's a difference?" He asked, looking up at the blonde girl who continued to look out in the distance.

"Well, think about it, you're eyes have been enclosed in darkness for hours and when you wake up and see vibrant bursting colors, I don't know, it's just refreshing." She explains. She enjoyed little moments like these with Seth. The peaceful moments where they just enjoyed each other's presence.

Seth didn't say anything else, though, he thought about what she said. He liked what she said about it. He admired it really, how smart she sounded. No longer really interested in the landscape in front of him seeing that the sun was almost fully risen, light blue skies appearing in the Mexico atmosphere, he looked down at the girl in front of her seeing she was in her tank top and her underwear. "You should really put on some clothes before coming out here. I may have seen you in your underwear but others might have not."

She glanced down at him, smiling but her eyes furrowed, "Pretty sure the night clerks shift is over." She remembered how he never liked the short and overweight Mexican man. He always called him a creep and Josephine could see sometimes why he called him that, but just figured he was inexperienced with women and clingy.
