After the three of them pulled off that heist that night, the brothers went their separate ways. Richie left to go find Santanico - which he did - and Josephine and Seth went back to Uncle Eddie's. Things between them still weren't good, especially when they walked into Eddie's and Sonja greeted Seth with a kiss.

While Sonja and Seth took up Eddie's spare room, Josephine was on the couch. She didn't really care that she got the couch, she did care that there was a untrustworthy bitch in her place on the bed next to Seth. Uncle Eddie, however, did keep the girl company, telling her stories of when he was younger, making her drinks of bizarre coffee from out of the states and one night they even played card games.

"Do you ever worry that someone that you took from or did dirty business with is gonna come after you?" She asked the older man after he finished telling a story about a job he pulled off way back when.

"They know not to mess with me." He replied simply, "I think I figured it out."

Josephine sat up on the couch. "Oh really? Then, Eddie, who am I actually?" She asked the man eagerly to see if he finally won the bet.

"Sutter. Eva Sutter." He said.

"Bingo," Josephine said taking a sip of the hot brown liquid, "Did Seth tell you?"

"He may have given me little hints about fires." Eddie replied.

"What can I say? I bring on the heat." Josephine jokes.

"They hurt you didn't they?" Eddie asked, "That's why you did it?"

Josephine shifted on the couch looking away from the man as she nodded. "Yeah, but what can I say? Assholes have friends," Josephine said remembering what Seth said at the Twister, "I should've known better, a sixteen year old girl shouldn't have stepped into a bar."

"Well, men should know better than to pick on underaged girls, whether they're in the wrong place or not." Eddie pointed out.

The room grew silent but was interrupted by Sonja's loud muffled laugh coming from the guest bedroom. Josephine rolled her eyes wishing the girl would just leave already. Maybe if she did leave, Josephine would actually get a chance alone with Seth to try and repair their broken friendship.

"I heard the whole thing," Eddie spoke up noticing the girl's reaction to Sonja, "When they came in here and almost shot the three of you. She shouldn't have offered you up like that. That was wrong. It changed my whole opinion about her. In a world like this, girls should-"

"Be sticking up for each other." Josephine finished the man sentence, "I know, but I don't think she does."

"She told me what she and Seth have is a business arrangement," Eddie says as the girl scoffs shaking her head disagreeing, "What would you say you and Seth have?"

Josephine paused thinking, "He's my best friend. He knows me better than anyone. I would take a bullet for him. I thought he'd do the same for me once upon a time, but things are different now. It's like we're strangers and I'm just following him around anymore."
