With one phone call to Burt, who was still trying to talk some sense into Freddie, they dragged Amaru into what he called, The Pen. It looked like something meant for a bull but Josephine knew Burt better than that. She knew it was actually meant for a demon of hell. With the help of one of Burt's shop employees, Marvin, they found the large cage and shoved the girl in there.

"This must be one of those demons from hell because I've never seen Burt use the cage before." Marvin spoke in awe, he had long blond hair a lot like Tanner's but darker.

"And you're sure this is going to hold her?" Josephine asked folding her arms over the chest.

"Yeah, take a closer look," He said pointing to the floor. Josephine looked down seeing ancient carvings engraved into the ground in a circle around where  Amaru was standing. "Burt scorched the floor with a ring of Xibalban bone marrow to help keep the hellspawns trapped."

"What?" Seth asked kicking the dirt below his feet revealing more carvings.

"Transporting them to the Labyrinth and all that." Marvin finished explaining.

"So, this is Ilhicamina's cage." Amaru spoke up causing everyone to glance back at her.

Josephine looked down to see Richard unbuckling Amaru's chains around her feet but came to a quick halt and rubbed his head. Josephine's eyes widened when she saw his eyes go red like they did back at the asylum.

Josephine walked over, grabbed Richard pulling him to his feet before dragging him out of the pen. Seth and Marvin followed out as well, shutting the gate behind them. When the gate latched closed, it triggered the ancient carvings to activate.

"Richie, what is wrong?" Josephine asked him. When Richard blinked, his eyes went back to his normal baby blue color.

"You okay, buddy? What just happened?" Seth asked in concern joining the girl at her side as he faced his brother.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Richard said brushing what happened off.

"What's the matter Richie? Not feeling quite like yourself lately?" Amaru asked walking as far as she could before getting stopped by the ring of ancient ruins on the ground.

"Just need some air," Richie replied to her.

"No, you'll need a lot more than air." She threatened taking one more step. As she did this, she hit the barrier. It was revealed in a bright red shield that showed up for only a second, pushing Amaru back. She grunted in pain and breathed out as she took a few more steps back.

Josephine was going to say some smartass joke to the girl, but Richard running out of the room and through the swinging doors that led back into Burt's shop caused her to stop.

"Richard, would you stop!" Josephine called after him. Seth followed after her, also concerned with Richard.

"What happened back there?" Seth asked causing him to stop walking down the hall.
