Chapter 14: Confessions Pt. 2 Remix

"I don't hurt people. I especially don't hurt people who've been hurt before." Semaj says keeping her eyes on him never removing them. She wanted him to know that she was nothing but serious. "I won't hurt you."

Those four words were too familiar to Michael. He had heard them too often and vowed to walk away from anyone who said to him because he just found them as liars but Semaj is someone who he didn't want to walk away from but the words did take him back to a place he said he would never forget. He'd keep it tucked right beside him to remind him why he needed to not get close to anyone.

"I won't hurt you Michael." Lonnie said moving her head so he'd look her in the place. "Baby I said sorry. I ain't goin to do it anymore I promise. Please jus please don't walk away from me." Lonnie pleaded with him.

"You said that wit the last guy Lonnie an I'm tired of hearin the bullshit cuz yo ass jus gon do it again. I'm tired of gettin' hurt and I'm tired of bein witcho cheatin ass. You cheat on me once, I letchu back in. You did it again, I letchu back in. You went and got my baby aborted an I STILL letcho ass back in!" Michael yells becoming angry and hurt all over again.

"For Christ sakes Michael!" Lonnie yells rolling her eyes. "It wasn't yo got damn baby to muthafuckin' begin wit!"

One second she was pleading for him to forgive her and take her back and the next minute she was yelling at him. Michael had been wondering for months if she truly wanted to be with him or if she was only with him because of the things he did and bought for her. He felt used by Lonnie but he didn't want to leave her. He was in love with her but, the question he asked himself on a daily basis was: why do you continue to love someone who only contiously does you wrong?"

"What you talkin' 'bout it wasn't mine Lonnie?!" Michael yells clenching his feet.

It was bad enough that she had went on him and got the abortion but now he was finding out that she had cheated on him, got pregnant, got an abortion, and then cheated on him again? Michael wasn't sure how much more his poor heart could take. She was killing him.

"Mike you heard me 'ight?! The baby wasn't even yours. But that ain't the point. I'm tired of you bringing up the pass. Let it go and gimme a clean slate!"

"A CLEAN SLATE?!" Michael yells pissed now.

He was sure his mother was hearing everything. She was right above them and her heart cringed when she heard the pain in her sons voice. She wanted to so badly interfere but Michael said this was something he had to do. Something he had to face. It had started off on one situation and was completely switching to another.

"Yea. Ery'body deserves a second chance."

"Second?" Michael says laughing trying to hold back his tears. "SECOND?! This is your fucking fifteenth hundred time doin' me wrong! You don't even know how many niggas walk up to me an tell me how they fucked my bitch! The girl that's 'possed to be wit me be ridin' otha niggas dick and I be lookin' stupid defendin yo stupid ass! I'M SICK OF YOUR SHIT, LONAESJA an I'm done."

"Michael you say that all the time." Lonnie replies sighing. "You say that an den two weeks later you be right back wit me. Can we jus skip over the two week break? I love you I really do."

"You don't love nobody butcha damn self an I ain't bein ya lil' dummy no got damn more. I ain't gon be yo puppet so you can string me along. That shit is dead an I'm cuttin you completely off. It's over. So get the hell outta my house. I don't want to see you or talk to you. Don't even think 'bout comin into contact with me."

Michael was done. He could no longer try and stay sane with this woman he once wanted to call his wife. His soulmate. She had cheated on him more than five times, and counting, then got pregnant and lied about the father and got an abortion. The pregnancy lie, about it being Michael's, went on for a year until Michael found out. That can set any good man back. It set Michael back too much. He couldn't deal with Lonnie or her cheating, unfaithful, ways. He needed her out before she destroyed him.
