After all that running around, I went to the kitchen. My mind was so preoccupied by Lindi and her work. Either way, I was enjoying the day.  When I walked into the kitchen, I found Samuel busy in the freezer.

"And what are you doing there?" I chuckled.
"Ah, the guys wanted help. You?"
"Lindi" I rolled my eyes.
"Haha, yeah hay. So what have you been up to lately. You don't call anymore."
"My friend! You know how hectic life is. I should have been keeping in touch but hey! I'm still busy with my degree in Business. How about you?"
"Well, you know me, a lawyer at heart."
"How is that going for you?"
"Challenging but I am enjoying every moment of it."
"You should, how far are you?"
" I have another 2 years to go."
"Awesome, man."
"You?" he asked me.
"Same." I smiled at him.

We could not keep the silence.

"So what ever happened to you and Sheldon?"
"Oh, goodness. Story of the past. He left me, remember? I got over him. It wasn't really so bad."
"You should be crying over him by now."
"Haha no. He wasn't giving me enough kisses and hugs. Nothing to miss there."
"What kind of hugs?"
"Hugs hugs. His touch wasn't soothing. So either way."
"Mhmm. Maybe you should feel my hugs?"
"Come on, Samuel are you serious?" I rolled my eyes.
"Well, not all of us are that bad."
"Haha, wow trust my friend to want to prove a point to me!"

Lindi walked in.

"Guys? Is everything the way it should be in here?"
"Yes yes." Sam and I answered.
"Don't worry, we will bring whatever you need out now." I said.
"Cool. Don't be too long." said Lindi.

I smiled and turned back to Samuel.
"So you were saying, friend of mine!"
"Come, let me hug you."
"You've hugged me for so many years what would have changed now?" I laughed.
"Just come."
"Okay okay fine."

I stepped closer to him and he held me by the waist and brought me closer to his chest. Goodness, this guy's touch. When did it become so hot?

"Ohkaay!" I gasped and pulled myself out of his arms.
"And?"
"You win! It feels different." I laughed.

Just as I was turning red in the face, Justin walked in with a serious face that turned into a smirk.

"I was just checking on....hey, what's going on here?"

"Nothing nothing, let me be on my way. Lindi is waiting." I said.
"Same here." said Samuel.

"You guys really don't have to mind me, seriously." Justin smirked.

"Let me get going, Sam." I grabbed the cutlery and went into the hall.

I could feel him looking at me and that gave me butterflies. His touch gave me butterflies.

I had to tell myself to stop it.

I thought Lindi would question what took me long but she didn't even notice. She just gave out orders and I set the table for us. Wow, only if I knew there would be so much hard labour.

Samuel also got busy with the guys. We were all doing something.
