Believe it or not. I was actually on a date with some guy named William. He was so good looking. He didn't have kids and he was quite matured. He was a bank manager.
It was a lunch date. I told him I couldn't possibly see him for dinner, I had a son to go home to.
"So Uhm.." I started.
"You're so beautiful. You have this glow to you."
"I'm just a nice person, that's all." I laughed.
"Well. I wouldn't mind seeing this nice person again."There they were. The butterflies I hadn't felt in a while. I felt wanted. I felt desired and by a good looking man for that matter!
"I should probably spend the night with you."
"Oh no..." I chuckled "my son...I can't just bring anyone around him...there will be plenty of time to know me and spend evenings with me."
"I can't wait to have him as my son."This guy was rushing. My son was such a sensitive topic to me and so close to my heart. I couldn't just bring anyone around him. It is nerve wrecking.
I couldn't wait to get home and tell the girls about this."Lily. You wouldn't believe it." I said.
I was walking across with Mitchell on my hip in the kitchen preparing his bottle.
"I can't believe he said that. I told you to be careful though if you mingle. Do you like him though?"
"I do like him. A lot but he freaked me out."
"Give him another shot. You give up to easily."I sat down and gave Mitchell his bottle.
"You think?" I asked.
"Yes. I think so. Try again and make it clear this time what you want from him or what you want out of this."
"Oh dear."Mitchell choked on his bottle and grabbed my attention.
"Ooh baby. Are you okay? Shhh. Shh." I rocked him up and down to stop the choking.
