It was the day of my big moment. I was not wearing my wedding gown yet but knowing I will take his name meant the world to me!
It was 7 o'clock in the morning when Lily knocked on my bedroom door at my house."Are you ready?" she snuck in.
I turned around to look at her with a big smile on my face.
"I am more than ready, my friend."
"Wow..." she gasped.
"What? Is anything the matter?" my eyes were teary.
"No no, don't cry. You look so beautiful my friend. "
"What? It's just a two piece. A peach two piece."
"Which looks absolutely amazing on you. Your face everything, your hair! You look amazing. If you look like this today. I don't want to imagine how breath taking you will be when you wear the gown on your big day."
"It still is her big day."
"You know what I meant, mom."My mother walked up to me.
"My angel?"
"Mama?"
"I am proud of you and how far you've come."
"Thank you, mama."
"Don't let anyone ruin this day for you. Not your past, nobody."I know what and who she meant.
"When last did you see him?"
"Wooh it's been months. I shut him out of my head for so long already. "
My mom smiled.
"Don't worry mama. I am happy and okay."I could see the relief, worry and sadness from my moms eyes. She had mixed emotions already and it wasn't even the big white wedding day.
