I was back to the final dress fittings.
"Hey , Vanessa how are you?" I greeted.
"My lady, you are back for the final fitting."
"Yes. I brought my assistant Laura, here."
"Pleased to meet you, Laura...uhm...coffee?"
"Yes, please." I said. "Make that two." I continued.
"Oh no, you're fitting and we certainly don't want to mess that dress." Vanessa said.I smiled. "She's a party pooper."
"So, are you ready?" Vanessa asked.
"Yes! I feel ready."
We waited for the coffee and my dress. Before we knew it, I was busy with the final fitting of my wedding dress.
I walked out of the fitting room.
"Whoa! You look like a dream." Laura said.
"Absolutely exquisite!" Vanessa exclaimed.
"But I need to fix this part, come stand here for me, darling."
"Which part?"
"This one just over here on your waist."Vanessa got busy with the dress.
"Enjoying the coffee Laura?" I asked.
"Yup."
"Careful don't burn yourself while enjoying it." I joked.
"Haha right?""Oh, your fitting reminds me of that Lizelle girl's one. There was always something wrong with her dress because of her ever growing figure." Vanessa said.
"She was probably pregnant already." I said.
"Mhm probably. Getting married for a child that's not her husband's." she continued.
"Sad situation."
"Ended terribly. In a divorce" Vanessa said.
"What? That can't be" I chuckled.
"Oh, how do you know?" she asked.
"They always fix things. So, Vanessa they have this under control, trust me."
"If you say so. Ah perfect. All done and ready for the big day."James walked in, staring.
"No no no!!! get away!!! this is bad luck!" Laura and Vanessa exclaimed.
"James!!!" I exclaimed and ran back to the fitting room.He brought my mom, son and bestfriend over to the fitting.
"We've just come to see the dress. James leave. Take Mitchell with you." mom said.
"Ah grandma." Mitchell complained.
"Boys aren't allowed to see it until the wedding." mom replied.
