"I'm not ready for a baby, neither is he." I told Lily.
"Okay, so you said I should just walk into the pharmacy and get the pills?"
"Yes, please."I was anxious! I knew what we had done the previous day but I had to take care of it before it's too late.
Lily, my darling friend, went out of the car to buy me emergency pills. They were expensive because of the 72 hour grace. Three days is quite a long time for grace.
I was relieved to see her come back to the car.
"Here" she handed them over to me.
"Thanks girl. Let's grab a bite and let me take the pills."
"I thought I bumped into my mother inside the pharmacy." she gasped.
"Is that why the heavy breathing?" I chuckled.
"Absolutely!"I took the pills on time, no delay. That much I know and am sure of.
A few minutes later, Sam called me.
"Hey."
"Hey, did you take the pills?"
"Yup. Wouldn't risk it. I'm not ready. Are you?"
"Heavens no. I'm not." he said.
"Don't worry. We're safe, okay? I love you."
"I love you too."
