When I walked out of my house this morning, I never expected to be surrounded by a handful of people, shouting my name from my left and right.

"Are you dating Austin Porter from PRETTYMUCH?"

"How long have you and Austin been dating?"

"How is it dating a celebrity?"

"What's going to happen when he goes on tour?"

"Are you going to move in with him?"

"Are you pregnant?"

Pregnant? Where'd they get that idea?

"Please. I need to go," I mumbled, trying to shove my way through the crowd. I just kept on bumping into people. I closed my eyes, hearing the camera shutter for the millionth time and expecting the flashes to blind me again any second now. "Please, leave me alone," I pleaded. I just felt violated.

"You just have to answer the questions, Eliana!" One of them screamed at me.

I shook my head. "How'd you know my name?"

"Do you know when they're going to release new music?"

"Eliana! Look this way!"

"Where are you going?"

I bent my head down and covered my ears. It stopped much noise. "I don't think that's any of your business," I said. "Please. I don't know anything. I'm not even dating Austin! We're just friends."

"That's what they all say!"

"How'd you guys meet?"

I was in the middle of the street, being crowded by these photographers that I don't even know. I finally saw an opening and made a run for it. I could feel them running behind me; their clicks following me each step of the way as well.

Fortunately for me, I knew my city better, so I was able to maneuver through the little alleyways and make my room to the diner. I burst into the diner and leaned my back against the door as soon as I closed it.

I closed my eyes to catch my breath and regain control. It came as a complete shock to find myself staring right at Brandon when I opened my eyes again.

He was just casually chewing on his breakfast. "So you're dating Austin?"

I groaned. "No," I grumbled, walking up to him. I pulled out the chair across from him and slumped on it. "I totally get you now, like they were chasing me and it was tiring. They were following me everywhere. I mean, where'd they even find me. It was suffocating. I couldn't breathe. I can't even imagine having to deal with this every day like you."
