Chapter 19 - Zora's Domain

Chapter 19 - Zora's Domain

Just before entering the Twilight wall of the Lanayru province, Link stopped them all.

He turned around to face them. "Everyone okay with going for a dip?"

"What?" asked Zelda.

"A swim," replied Fang. "I don't mind."

"Neither do I," agreed Serah.

"I guess Sheik is too." Zelda used her magic and turned into Sheik. He folded his arms and walked up to Link. He gestured for Midna to go through.

Like the many times before, Midna came out of Link's shadow and went through the wall. Link held onto the others. A huge orange hand grabbed Link and his grip, which was really firm, held onto Sheik, Fang and Serah.

They passed through the wall, normally, and Link turned into his wolf form. The orange hand belonged to Midna, who then sat on Link's back.

Link ran ahead leading the others towards a bridge. He was already half way across. When the others caught up to him, he had stopped and his nose twitched.

Midna looked around. "Do you smell that?"

"Smell what?" asked Sheik, taking in a huge whiff of air.

"Look!" Serah pointed to the other side.

A Bulblin was there with a bow and arrow that was lit on fire.

Fang looked the other way. "There's another!"

She pointed at the monster on the side they came from. Both monsters shot their fire arrows and fire seemed to be closing in towards them.

Link saw a crate and pushed it to the edge. He jumped on top of it. Fang looked at him and looked below the bridge. There was a lake. Link had jumped down already.

She grabbed Sheik and Serah's hands. "Come on!"

She jumped on top of the edge and jumped off, the heavy air blowing into her face, which slowly turned into a slap of water that soaked her entire attire that she had woken up in and entered a different place she knew nothing about.

They headed to higher ground where they could look at the lake at a better view. It was the smallest lake she had ever looked at.

Sheik was furious and in awe at the same time. "What? The lake. It's...dried up?! How is that even possible?!"

Midna sighed. "You already know the answer to that yourself. No need to ask us. You've been through this already. Just like me and Link."

"But I wasn't informed of this."

"Midna," called Serah. "How do we get this lake back to normal?"

"We need to go that way." She pointed towards a hole in a cliff far away from their position.

Fang backed away from them. "Bahamut!"

Just like the time before, Bahamut dove down towards them and hovered in the air to be given orders by Fang.

"Ready when you are."

Bahamut turned into its bird form. One by one, they jumped onto Bahamut. Midna held onto Wolf Link who could have fallen off easily not being human. She had held onto him and given instructions to Fang to give to Bahamut. The instructions were successful and they had safely arrived at the Zora Throne room. It had looked nothing as Sheik had expected. The flowing water was gone. So had the Zoras. The water was frozen, at a halt. No movement was found by anyone of them. Apart from Wolf Link who sensed out the Zoras.
