Chapter 18 - The Hidden Village
Nero woke up and pointed Yamato at Dante but it went through his body. Lightning, Vergil and Dante looked startled.
"Are you okay?" asked Lightning who sat opposite him.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he mumbled. He lay down again, looking up at the blue sky. It reminded him of the first day he arrived in Hyrule.
Lightning stood up and walked over to him. "Here. Take this."
"What is it?"
"It's what you three call a...vital something. Vital heart? No, doesn't sound right. Vital health? Nope sounds worse. Vital..."
The devils stared at her like she was crazy. She looked at the three of them then rolled her eyes and looked away.
Nero shook his head. "Thanks." He held it in his human hand and crushed the green star. As he crushed it, he felt revitalised. Full of energy. He looked around. "Where's the Master sword?"
"It's right next to you," Dante pointed out.
Nero picked it up. "I feel so good when I hold this sword. You guys should try it. The peacefulness from inside of it feels like its being absorbed by me. You can hold it right?"
"Absolutely," said Lightning. "If I threw it at that dinosaur head without going in a trance then yeah. We all can."
"Here." Nero passed the sword to Lightning.
She looked at him and shrugged. "I don't feel any different. Maybe you two might." She passed the sword on to Dante.
He had the same look. "Me either. It could be you, cuz."
Vergil stood up to stretch. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine." Nero stood up too along with Dante and Lightning. "It's just...I had a dream of...the mirror. It was whole. But I'm sure its nothing. Anyways, let's get going shall we? We don't have much time to waste now do we?" He pulled the map out of his pocket. "Next stop, the Hidden Village."
Dante extinguished the fire. "I think we should call Link."
Vergil agreed. "Yes. We need to find out what we need to do at a village we don't even know about to find that mirror shard."
"Already on it," said Lightning. She already had the phone out to call. She did what she needed to do to call and it rung.
On the way down the mountain, Sheik had picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"Who is this?"
"My name is Sheik."
"Well, Sheik, why so you have this phone? It's meant to be with my little sister."
"I have this because I am Princess Zelda."
"Like I'm going to buy that. Give this phone to Link."
Sheik passed the phone down. "It's Lightning."
Link took it. "Hey Light."
"Who was that guy?"
"He is Princess Zelda's disguise."
"Yeah, right. Anyways, I called because of that village. Why do we need to go there? What are going to do there?"
"Well, there's this woman who helped my friend escape."
"How will this help us? If it’s personal, I think you should be doing this."
"It's both actually. It will help you too. Save her and show her the Dominion Rod. Hopefully, you didn't misplace it. She will give you a book which gives you the way to the City in the sky. But the personal thing is that my friend's memory has gone. The only way to get it back is to get the charm from her by mentioning Ilia."
