Chapter 26 - So similar yet so different

Above the clouds, lay a city in the sky. Floating, just like Cocoon. Odin landed on water then stopped on the next piece of solid ground that he felt under his hooves. Unexpectedly, a harsh wind blew and they all fell back in the water behind them. Four heads stuck out of the clear water. Buildings were to their right, left and behind them were clouds. But there was a building on its own. It seemed as though an evil vibe/aura was coming from it. The buildings in this high city were very different. They looked like they only had one floor. That confused them all. Light got out of the water first, followed by Dante, Vergil, then Nero.

Vergil shuddered. "I'm beginning to hate water. Eugh."

Light laughed. "I don't blame you." One of the buildings caught her eye. A sign seemed to be there but it was written in a strange language. It wasn't Hylian either. "Let's go in there."

The harsh wind blew at them again and all of them fell against the railing behind them. If there was no railing, they would've fallen off the city and been squashed onto the ground below. That was a scary thought. The wind stopped and they ran to get in the building. Just as they entered the building, an alarm went off. Some bird like creatures stepped up to them. They were the size of a regular chicken.

"dushryhsnsk?" the chicken spoke.

The group stared at it with confusion. The chicken next to it spoke to it. It then turned to the group.

"You are from the land below, Hyrule, right?" it said. Light nodded. "We are the Oocca. What my friend was trying to tell you before was that you are our first customers so welcome!"

Nero was a little shocked. "Um...Oocca? What do you mean by first customers?"

"Well, you are our first customers from the surface below. My friend here will go get something from the back which I know will be useful for you when you are looking for that shard." The silent Oocca went to the back.

"How do you know that?"

"I was on the surface with you. You brought me along up here with you." They stared at it in disbelief. "Na, I'm just kidding. An evil being had come here and placed a dark mirror shard in the temple that is isolated. All of you seem prepared for a fight. But you'll need something before you can go through to the temple. Follow me."

They followed it to the back of the shop where the other Oocca stood carrying a sack. It was dragging the sack but when it saw them, it stopped and walked away.

"Go on. One of you take it."

Nero looked at Light. "Go on, Light. Your turn."

She hesitated. "Um...I'm not sure. Why don't you take it?"

"Why?"

"What if its not useful for me?"

He stared at her. "I got a ball on a chain. Take the thing in the bag. Nothing's worse than what I got!"

"Okay, okay."

She walked towards the sack on the ground and picked it up. She reached inside for whatever it was.

She took it out. "Behold the clawshots. These two will help you jump from place to place," She read.

"Sounds impressive."

"That's awesome," Dante exclaimed. "Definitely better than the Dominion rod."

The Oocca flew up to Dante's face. "The Dominion rod?" Dante nodded. "You people must be the messengers of the heavens..."
