Pic of Ganondorf ------>

Chapter 32 - Given the truth

Midna had transported herself inside the castle and left the others with regret. She needed to think of a plan. There and then, she sensed Ganondorf’s aura getting stronger. She floated upwards.

Ganondorf had flashed in the hall with Zelda. Zelda staggered backwards.

“I believe it’s better to be in the place where it began,” stated Ganondorf. “Finish everything where it started.”

She pointed her sword at him. “It didn’t start here. For you it didn’t and neither did it for me. It started all those years ago in the field with the Hero of Time. Do you remember him?”

“I killed a sage. You can’t send me back. Do you really think I care about some hero?”

“The Hero of Time. He’s still alive. Have you not realised?”

Ganondorf laughed. His maniacal laughter rung in her ears and echoed throughout the hall. Before Midna could do any more, Ganondorf charged at Zelda with his white sword that she remembered.

Midna snapped her fingers and she appeared next to Zelda. “I don’t think so,” she spoke. She started to summon the Fused Shadow.

Zelda stopped her and blocked Ganondorf’s attack. “Not now, Midna! Wait…for that right moment!” She managed to push him away. “You never gave me the chance last time, did you?” She changed forms. Sheik had her sword. “You remember me, don’t you?”

Ganondorf ran at him. Sheik disappeared and appeared behind him. He threw something at him and shielded his eyes. Midna did the same. A blinding flash hit Ganondorf’s eyes and he swayed, dazed. Sheik took his throwing knives out and threw at the ugly freak in front of him. Just before the knives hit him, Ganondorf turned around. The knives just bounced off his skin and armour. He laughed and slowly walked towards Sheik. He laughed and slowly walked to Sheik.

“Just like her, aren’t you?” Ganondorf said as Sheik backed away. “Just like the Princess of Hyrule at the time of the brainless Hero. Naïve and stupid. Wise yet you don’t know how to use your own power.”

Sheik took his bow and light arrows out. He took an arrow out. Ganondorf took one more step closer and punched him hard enough for him to fly at the feet of the throne. Sheik carefully stood up again but to see Ganondorf’s foot in his stomach. It drove him to sit on the throne with his head banging on the back of the chair, knocking him unconscious and turning back into Zelda. She was bleeding from her mouth and head.

Zelda had vanished with Ganondorf, Midna had disappeared and Link with the two foreigners had headed to the top of Hyrule Castle.

“Link,” Light whispered. “There was no glowing weak spot. Now what?” he didn’t let a word out.

Nero stopped Link. “Stop being so gloomy! What was that move you did to me in front of that-” He stopped himself. “Well, the Hero of Time. Do it to me. Again.”

“Why?”

“Just do it.”

Like before, Link stood with his left hand on the handle of the Master Sword and Nero stood in front of him. Link unsheathed his sword and stabbed him. He kicked the handle so that the entire sword went through Nero’s body. Blood was dripping down his sword. Nero held the sword and the blood disappeared. They carried on walking.

“That move was good,” said Light. “Maybe that’ll be the only way to do this.”

Nero chuckled. “Why do you think I asked him to do it again? To show you. And to get him motivated again. That move looks like it needs a whole lot of strength. No strength means no idea of it working, right Link?”
