Chapter 7 : The Play

Lisa's Point of View

After Jungkook sang, everyone shouted and teased Rosé, thinking that the song was for her. I get his message, I really do. I look at him and he was smiling at me. I blushed and instantly looked away. But everyone suddenly turned silent as teacher called the next person....

"Park Jimin"

Jimin stood infront of the class and suddenly smiled at me. He heavily sighed and...

"This song, is for my dear best friend" he looked at me.

I was startled when Rosé's new friends screamed. Yup, she has new friends.

"Stop it. Jungkook's here" Rosé said to her friends.

Of course, it's not for me. It's for Rosé, the dear one in his life....

Everyone clapped their hands as he walked past me, but among those claps, I heard him whisper....

"It's for you, Lis"

I froze. Did he really meant it? I looked at him and he was looking back at me. I instantly faced in front which was a bad idea. Jungkook was glaring at Jimin as a dark aura surrounded him. I looked down since he glanced at me. I don't know but I suddenly felt guilty. Wait, why am I even guilty?

"Okay, now everyone has already sang. Do you know why I initiated this task?" The teacher asked and we all shook our heads.

"We are conducting a play in our school. This task helped us to find the perfect characters for the play" we were all shook.

"So the plot is all about Rosaline. Before Romeo met Juliet, do you know he loved a girl named Rosaline?" The teacher said and I nodded, well I was the only one that nodded.

"Lisa! Looks like you know the story, can you tell it to all of us?" I stood up and cleared my throat.

"Well, Romeo wouldn't have met Juliet if it wasn't because of Rosaline. Romeo loved Rosaline ever since they were kids and he was her first love and vice versa. But when Romeo heard that there was a party held at the Capulets, he decided to go, hoping to see Rosaline. But his love wasn't strong, for when he saw Juliet, his love vanished, leaving the poor Rosaline alone and broken. But what Rosaline didn't know is that Benvolio,Romeo's cousin is in love with her and they fell in love with each other" I explained and the teacher nodded her head.

"Very well said. So, to know Rosaline's side of the story, we're going to do a modern version play of it. So, here are the characters that I chose" she held out a paper and looked at students.
