" All right, class. Now the problem has been sorted out and now you can sleep in rooms again... no more in the hall," Mrs. Jeffrey, the class teacher of Sapphire Class, said.

It's been two weeks already Hazelia's been there... and also the Jack boy who just sat behind her.

" And... I'm going to read you the list of students here which you will be roommates with each other. And um... boys and girls will be mixed—"

Someone interrupted her as she was speaking.

" But uh... isn't that kinda... um... Not right, as in illegal? You know, boys and girls aren't supposed to be mixed up. Girls should be with girls and boys with boys... that's just wrong in so many different levels."

It was Normani, a girl with thick glossy black hair and dark skin who sat in the front row.

" Well, Ms. Reef, here we're different. But if us teachers found some funny business, you'll all be in big trouble... and don't worry, the bathrooms will be in the dorms. Outside of your rooms... so, if you're taking a shower or anything you have to go out of your rooms and go to it, you know? And yes, there's girls' and boys' bathrooms," Mrs. Jeffrey said almost sarcastically.

The whole class snickered.

" And the beds? What type...?" Normani asked again.

" Bunk beds. You know, the two beds? One on the top and the other under it? With a ladder so you can climb it to the top bunk?" Mrs. Jeffrey joked.

The class then bursted into laughter.

" Now... without further discussion. I'm going to call your name. Didi Donny and Josh Zone... Normani Reef and Danny George... Callie Berry and Darrick Hunt... Lysa Feathers and Jack Waters—" as Mrs. Jeffrey said her name, Hazelia perked up and looked disapprovingly at Mrs. Jeffrey.

" Sorry, I don't think I heard you clearly... Who do you paired me up with?" she asked after raising her hand.

" Jack Waters?" Mrs. Jeffrey said, though it came out as a question.

Hazelia's hands clenched into fists.

" Jack Waters?! Why him? I mean, like, is there no other person?" Hazelia asked.

" Do you hate each other?" Mrs. Jeffrey asked.

" I don't. But she hates me," a voice chirped in from behind Hazelia.

Hazelia turned sharply at him and glared daggers before turning back to Mrs. Jeffrey.

" Can I change?" Hazelia asked.

" Well, I'm afraid you have to find other people to exchange places with," the teacher said.

" I can replace her," a girl suddenly said. It was Alexandra, the pop girl of the school. And also the secretary's daughter. " I will have my own room... there's no roommates with me. Well, according to my daddy." she added.

" You know why you have to have your own room. You're dangerous around boys," the teacher said.

The class laughed upon hearing it.

Everyone knew that Alexandra Stanley was a girl who flirts everywhere she goes (And here I am, thinking, gee... stop with the flirting).

" And anyway, Ms. Feathers. It's been set up. You can't change it back. You will have to learn to accept it and be nice to each other," the teacher said.
