Chapter 16

" What do you think we should do?" Anna asked Manny who was looking thoughtful while rubbing his chin.

They were all sitting and standing in a circle around Rapunzel and Merida who looked as miserable as the first time they discovered they have been switched. Rapunzel buried her face in her hands while Merida kept scowling at the long golden hair around her.

Meanwhile Pegasus was talking quietly with Hazelia at a corner about her recent problems while Hazelia wrapped an arm around her shoulders and said soothing words to the winged girl.

" You remember Jack, do you?" Pegasus asked.

Hazelia gave her a questioningly look.

" Of course I remember him, girl. He is right there sitting with them." she said, laughing a little.

Pegasus laughed along weakly.

" No, no. Not that Jack. I'm talking about Jack Dark, my half-brother," she said.

Upon that, Hazelia's face turned dark and she grimaced the mention of the name.

" Er... yeah. Why?" she asked.

" He's here. And I know the Queen of Darkness is here too," Pegasus said.

" Y/N told me that... but, are you gonna be okay? I mean, Dark is kind with you, right?" Hazelia asked slowly.

Pegasus looked down at her hands.

" I don't know, Lys... I saw him one day and he doesn't look that sweet anymore. He doesn't even notice I was there. It's like I'm invisible, you know? I... I really don't know. I miss him but when I saw him like that..." Pegasus trailed as a tear slid down her cheek.

" Oh, Pegs... I'm sure we will sort this out. I don't like seeing my best friend having a broken family. So that explains your problems, ain't it? Don't worry. Be strong and tough like the Pegs I always know and love. We are all in this together. We are all a family. Okay, maybe Dark has changed into a monster... but you have us." Hazelia said and hugged her friend, Pegasus hugged her back and went she pulled back, she smiled.

" You're right. Being all sad and broken won't lead me anywhere. I'm gonna show them I'm strong." she said and wiped her tears.

Hazelia patted her on the shoulder.

" That's the spirit." she said and turned around when Jack approached them.

" Everything cool?" the winter spirit asked.

" Yeah," Hazelia answered.

" Well, okay. Manny is discussing about what to do with the two girls who, in my point of view, are about to go insane." he said and gave a little chuckle.

Pegasus and Hazelia laughed too.

" Oh, by the way. Can I talk to you for a while? Pegs, you go and join them first... we'll catch up with you later," Hazelia said and Pegasus nodded before walking to the rest.

Hazelia watched her walked away and then finally turned to Jack.

" They're here," Hazelia said.

Jack's face twisted into confusion.

" Who are here?" he asked.

" The Queen of Darkness. And also, not forgetting your Similar," she answered.

Jack's eyes widened this time.

" You mean Jack Dark? The boy who—" he was interrupted by Hazelia, who waved her hand, signalling for him to stop talking.
