Epilogue

A year later...

Y/N stretched as she had just woken up from her deep sleep. She glanced around her room and just sat there on her bed for a few minutes, thinking how much had changed in her life... she's now officially the Queen of the Hearts Kingdom.

It all felt like only yesterday she had been elected queen even though it's already a year she had ruled her kingdom.

And she was good in ruling her kingdom, I tell you.

Twenty-one years ago or so, she was just a normal girl living in a normal life, but now... it was too good to be true.

She stood up from her bed and pulled away the curtains from the large windows in her room to let the sunlight come in and she smiled as she opened a window and looked around. Her bedroom window had a clear view of Mix Academy, which was the place where her adventures started.

And it was winter, so she reached out her hand and let a snowflake landed on her palm before melting away.

Walking away, she grabbed her towel and went into her bathroom to take a relaxing bath.

When she came out, she slipped into a knee-length red dress with long sleeves to keep her warm, wearing black tights underneath. She brushed her hair and tied it up into a messy bun before putting her crown on top. Finally, she put on her favourite sneakers. Queen or no, no way was she going to wear high heels if there's no events. And her mother, who was now Lady M/N, had agreed to it. Knowing that her daughter was not just a queen, but also a master in sword fighting, so probably fighting with high heels was not really a good option.

As Y/N walked out of her room, she greeted a maid who was sweeping the floor.

" Good morning, Queen Y/N. I believe your guardian is waiting for you at the palace's gates," the maid informed her.

Y/N nodded with a smile and made her way to the front doors just as her mother came rushing to her.

" Aren't you going to eat first before you go out?" Lady M/N asked.

Y/N shook her head.

" Nah, I'll eat at the academy. See you at dinner."

After kissing both her mother's cheeks and waving goodbye, she walked out of the castle and headed straight towards the gates.

Jack, now her guardian, was waiting in front of the gates and was frosting the gates with his staff.

" Oh, no... you did not just did that." she said as she approached him.

He smiled innocently at her and pulled away from the gates.

" What? I'm just decorating them. You gotta admit my art skill is amazing," he replied confidently.

" Flight?" he asked and she shook her head.

He had brought her flying last week and it went horribly wrong. She had screamed when he purposefully sped up and screamed louder when he purposefully dropped her before catching her again after a minute she was free-falling from the sky. Of course, when he set her down he had earned a long lecture from Y/N. Then he admitted to her he was actually having fun watching her fall.

Biggest regret of his life.

He immediately got a punch in the face. Y/N didn't talk to him for three days before he finally made it up to her by doing all kinds of things she told him to, he even had to wear one of Elsa's dress for a day and Hazelia made him a wig just like Elsa's hair including the braid. What a laugh they had that day!
