Chapter 12

Hazelia was sleeping when she woke up to the sunlight shining at her face.

She groaned and pulled her blanket up to cover her face.

" H, you need to wake up... it's breakfast time. You don't wanna miss it, do you?" Jack's voice asked as he pulled her blanket away.

" Since when are you a morning riser?" Hazelia mumbled sleepily while covering her face with a pillow this time.

" Since I stayed with Mr. Tom... now get up! It's nine... you don't wanna be late... do you?"

Hazelia bolted upright with wide eyes as she checked the clock hanging on the wall.

" A freaking one hour before class starts! Why didn't you try to wake me up?!" she shouted before trying to jump down from the bed but rethinking her decision, she climbed down the ladder before choosing her clothes in a rush and grabbed her towel and opened the door to go to the bathroom.

" Because you didn't wake up even though I had tried!" Jack shouted after her and only got a groan as a reply.

After a few minutes, Hazelia went back inside the room and grabbed her phone and slipped it into her pocket before putting on her sneakers. She then grabbed her sling bag and brushed her hair quickly.

" Okay, let's go." she said and walked out the door. " You lock the door this time."

After Jack had locked the door and tucked the key into his pocket, they walked to the cafeteria and got their breakfast which was a bowl of cereal and a small apple pie as dessert and a glass of milk.

As Hazelia turned on her phone while munching on her cereal, she found a notification for the "All Specials". She clicked on it and found somebody with the username "In_A_Different_World" had left a message. And as she read it, her heart skipped a beat and her eyes widened.

Hi, Hazel. Is this you? - Straeh

" Who is this?! they seem to know me," she talked to herself aloud.

" What do you mean?" Jack asked, trying to peek at her shoulder.

" The real me... not "this" me." Hazelia answered, gesturing at herself.

" You mean..." but before Jack could finish, Hazelia shoved her phone in front of his face so he could see the message.

He frowned for a while.

" Who is Straeh? That's a weird name... what are you gonna do?" he asked.

Hazelia shrugged.

" Should I reply?" she asked him back.

" I don't know... try not to give too many information first. It could be any random person," Jack said.

Hazelia pondered in her head for a while whether to reply or not. Then she shifted her gaze back to her phone and typed a reply.

Do I know you? What's my full name?

Then she pressed "Send" and shoved back her phone inside her pocket. She then continued eating.

After they finished their breakfast, they walked out of the cafeteria and went to their lockers and pulled their books out.

When Hazelia had gotten all her books out, she closed her locker door and then turned around before again she saw the same girl she thought looked like Rapunzel and nudged Jack who was still pulling out his books.
