Finally three days went by and Rapunzel woke up in her room that she shared with Anna... just like old times.

She yawned and looked at Anna sleeping figure on the other bed. It was still early, it was only six-thirty in the morning and the sun hasn't shown yet. Rapunzel touched her hair and thought of feeling excited but then her excitement turned to disappointment.

It's still frizzy.

She sighed and buried her face in her pillow and then not even bother to rise early as she always does and so she slept back.

erida woke up to bright light pouring through the window. She pried open her eyes to find it was Elsa who was sliding open the curtains before turning to her.

She chuckled a little while crossing her arms.

" You know, I actually thought you were Rapunzel," she stated.

Merida looked around her and groaned, everything's still in gold as her... Rapunzel's, hair circled around the room.

It didn't work?

Elsa made a "tsk tsk" sound before speaking.

" You need to braid your hair, Merry." she said, putting her hands on her hips.

" And how am I going to do that? I don't even know how to braid my hair! And don't call me Merry," Merida answered.

" You never even learn how to braid your hair?" Elsa asked in disbelief.

" Well, ye know how my original hair is. My mother used to show me but ugh... it's such a boring thing to learn! I couldn't even braid a little hair, some more with this heap of gold mess." Merida huffed in frustration.

Elsa laughed.

" I suppose I can help you. Get ready first," she said.

Merida stood up and then searched through her dresser for something comfortable before going into the bathroom. When she walked out, she plonked herself on a chair and turned to Elsa.

" Help me now!" she exclaimed.

Elsa laughed again before walking towards her and got to work.

--- TIME SKIP BY A QUITE LAZY ME ;) (SERIOUSLY, THERE'S NOTHING TO WRITE ABOUT THE BRAIDING) ---

When Elsa's done with the braiding, she stepped back and observed her work.

" Hmm... not bad. Not as good as Rapunzel's braiding but... not bad," she said to herself.

Merida stood up and groaned again.

" My head feels soooooo heavy! How could Rapunzel live with this hair?" she asked no one in particular.

" Well, she grew up with it, so it must be that she's used to it. I mean, it also gives her healing power and that power is handy I tell you," Elsa said.

Merida went to the mirror and looked at her reflection to find her hair was now in a thick braid that reached only to her ankle.

She sighed sadly.

" This'll do for now," she said.

Elsa saw her sad face and came to stand at her side before putting a hand on her shoulder.

" You'll change back... I'm sure of it," she said softly.

Merida smiled at her.

" Thanks," she said simply.
