Chapter 47

Y/N and her mother climbed down from the carriage to find the doors of the academy wide opened with colourful decorations hanging in and a sign at the door that said,

"WELCOME TO MIX ACADEMY, WE'RE HOLDING UP A SPECIAL CEREMONY AND YOU'RE ALL INVITED!" in big bold and cursive letters.

Y/N could already see the people inside rushing here and there, while some people were entering the academy. Most of the guests Y/N didn't recognized.

As they walked up the stairs and to the entrance, they were greeted by Honey Lemon and Fred.

" Oh my God... you look amazing, Y/N!" Honey exclaimed, jumping up and down a little.

" You look amazing yourself," Y/N replied back.

And Honey was looking amazing, her hair was tide up into a lopsided ponytail while her soft yellow dress complimented her eyes.

" Thank you," she thanked.

" Hey, hey... are you just complimenting each other? How about me? I'm sure I look smart in this suit," Fred chided in, making both Y/N and Honey rolled their eyes while the queen laughed heartily.

He was wearing a black tuxedo with a bow tie.

" You look great, Fred," Y/N said.

Then she and her mother walked inside.

" Well, well... how gorgeous." Pegasus suddenly appeared beside Y/N along with Evelyn.

" Yeah? I love your hair, and that stunning dress! You look so different." Y/N commented, reaching out a hand and stroking one of Pegasus's big and sparkling wings.

Pegasus smiled brightly at Y/N in return.

" You guys rock your looks," Hazelia walked towards them with Jack Dark, Merida, and Rapunzel.

Jack Dark was wearing a black jacket over a white t-shirt, Merida wore a simple blue dress that reached her knees with leggings underneath while Rapunzel wore a lacy fuchsia gown. Hazelia's bluish purple eyes observed Pegasus and Y/N.

" Love those shoes," she told Y/N who had her eyes widened as she lifted up her skirt a little to reveal her black sneakers/wedges.

" How did you know what I'm wearing? My dress completely covered my shoes," Y/N said in disbelief.

Hazelia's eyes glowed for a flash of seconds before she smiled mysteriously.

" My eyes gave me a new power," she told Y/N. " I can see through things." she finished.

" That's cool! You mean, like X-Ray?" Y/N asked.

Hazelia shrugged.

" Yeah... I should try to find a pair like yours as well. Look at what I'm wearing." she said and lifted up her skirt only to reveal her feet without shoes on.

" You're wearing nothing," Y/N stated.

" Yep. Blame your boyfriend for this. He made me walk around barefoot because he doesn't want to be embarrassed being barefoot while wearing formal attire. He has to wear formal attire, by the way," Hazelia explained. Y/N's face flushed at the term "boyfriend" Hazelia used to indicate Jack.

" W-why wouldn't he wear shoes? A-and h-he's not my b-boyfriend," she stuttered.

" Ask him yourself! But oh, well... being barefoot is kinda cool too. Makes me look like some fairy of the forest or something." Hazelia twirled around and they all laughed together.

She was about to say something again but then her eyes widened when she saw something that caught her attention behind them all.

" Mom!" she called out before rushing off without a bit as a goodbye.
