Chapter 24

They all ran outside of the palace and peeked at the ghosts from behind a wall.

There's probably a hundred of Grey Ghosts looming and floating around.

They hid back behind the wall and then looked at each other.

" What's the plan?" Jack asked Hazelia.

" Why are you asking me?" Hazelia asked back.

" Well, you're a pro in killing ghosts," Jack answered.

" I'm not a pro. The Repel Beads are the pros," Hazelia declared.

" Since we need to send the queen back to the academy, Toothless could give a ride," Hiccup offered, beginning the plan.

" Ye sure? I mean, ye couldn't even live without yer dragon," Merida said.

" I'm sure. What do you think, bud?" Hiccup asked and crouched down to give Toothless a pat on the head. Toothless just gave a nod. Hiccup stood straight again. " Okay. All set." he said and helped the queen climbed up on Toothless's back before the dragon took off into the air.

" Right. Now what?" Pegasus asked.

" Easy. We kill them." Y/N said and pulled out her sword and was about to walk out but Hazelia stopped her.

" They don't die no matter how hard you slash at them. The sword will just go through them anyway," Hazelia told her.

" Then? How are we gonna kill them?" Y/N asked.

Hazelia grinned.

" Repel Beads. Normal Repel Beads only hurt them... but, if you mixed the Repel Beads with your energy, that'll kill them. One bead per ghost." Hazelia explained and took out a clump of glowing turquoise beads.

The others also did the same.

She then clasped her palms together with the beads inside, glancing at the others to follow. Then she closed her eyes and her hand glowed blue and purple before it dimmed slowly and she opened her eyes.

The others did the same, but with different colours of energy.

" Now, we're ready." Hazelia said and walked out from behind the wall before stopping. " What?!" she exclaimed.

The others all walked out and frowned.

" Where did they go?" Rapunzel asked.

In front of them, there's not even a ghost in sight. Nothing.

" Wha—" before Jack Dark could finish, a guard came running at them while flailing his arms around.

" Help! Help! There's a whole lot of ghosts at the back of the palace, in front of the woods!" the guard cried out.

Upon hearing this, they followed the guard and rushed to the back of the palace before stopping abruptly.

Guards were all lining up in front of them with their weapons.

They slowly backed away and turned around to find other guards blocking them with the previous guard in the middle. He smiled evilly at them. The guards were all surrounding them.

" They've been possessed," Pegasus whispered.

Y/N threw a Repel Bead at a guard but the guard didn't even flinched.

" Why isn't it working?" she asked.

" Because they're in somebody's body. And a way to kill them is to kill the person they possessed," Hazelia informed.

" But with Syirayuki..." Y/N trailed.

" I didn't killed that ghost. She scrambled away," Hazelia said.

" So we have to kill them now?" Rapunzel asked uneasily.

The idea of killing made her wanted to throw up. Jack Dark saw her uneasiness.

" Just smash them. They don't have blood or whatever. The guards are made of jewels, mom created them. And I'm sure she can create more." he said and Rapunzel sighed in relief before taking out a frying pan that she pulled out of her skirt.

" Where did ye got that frying pan?" Merida asked.

" I brought it," Rapunzel replied.

" Okay, so there's eighty of them excluding that previous guard. So we could each take ten. The previous guard... anyone could take himm" Hazelia said as she mentally counted the possessed guards using a power she summoned.

" How can you count them?" Jack Dark asked.

" Because I can," she replied.

" That doesn't make sense!" he exclaimed.

" Then don't ask," she snapped, feeling guilty afterwards.

" Okay guys. Ready?" Y/N asked, pulling her sword out. " Go!" she exclaimed and started attacking.

She swung her sword at the guards and they shattered into millions pieces of sparkles.

Rapunzel smashed the guards that came in front of her with her frying pan like it's a smashing game that she's really enjoying.

Hiccup just kicked the guards with his steel leg and they almost immediately shattered before he started using a dagger attached to his belt.

Merida didn't know what to do since she doesn't have her bow and arrow with her. But then she saw a guard aiming an arrow at her direction a few feet away from her from the corner of her eye. She smiled. She could easily reach the guard. So she did just that. As the guard let go of the arrow, she caught it easily in her hand with being skilled in aiming. Then she ran to the guard and jabbed the arrow at his chest before snatching the bow and a quiver of arrows from him. Then she started aiming at the other guards.

Jack did what he's good at, freezing.

Hazelia thrust energy blasts at the guards approaching her.

And lastly, Pegasus and Jack Dark worked in a team. Pegasus blinded the guards and Jack Dark used his dark power to shut down the guards.

Then all was left was the previous guard that came running to them earlier. He growled and was about to attack them when he suddenly froze and looked down at his chest to see a bullet protruding out.

He then crumbled and turned into sparkly pieces, revealing Tasha Evans standing there while blowing out a gun-like weapon, like she was in a movie.

And the rest all had their jaws dropped except Jack Dark who glared at Tasha.

Tasha Evans, a girly girl who couldn't even hold a kitchen knife, much less a gun-like weapon? And now there she was, acting all cool with a weapon in her hand.

She looked at them all and giggled.

" Why? Can't believe I can handle a weapon?" she asked, smiling smugly.

" Tasha! You're supposed to come earlier! And don't pretend you've killed hundreds of them. You only shot one!" Jack Dark exclaimed.

" Oh, relax. It's done, right? I was at Ravy's place. And what are they doing here?" Tasha asked, eyeing the others.

" They need some help. We need to see Ravelin," Jack Dark replied.

" And why should I bring you guys to her?" Tasha asked again.

" We don't need you to bring us. I know where she lives, okay?" Jack Dark said and he walked away and gestured for the others to follow him.

" Hey! Wait up!" Tasha yelled and ran after them.

" We didn't invite you!" Jack Dark yelled back since he was in front of them all.

" Then I'll invite myself!" Tasha declared and soon they all walked into the woods.

When they finally reached a door that was plastered to a tree trunk, the same like where Syirayuki lives, Tasha walked right up to the door and knocked on it.
