Chapter 42

As Hazelia fell down to the ground, North and the rest of the guardians landed.

" Ohmyteethwe'resorrywe'relateitisjustthatthere'ssomeotherthingsweneedtohandle." Tooth blurted out and she covered her mouth with her hands. She seemed to looked so tense and her feathers were messy, her eyes wandering around everywhere.

North came from behind her and he put a hand on her shoulder.

" Breathe in, Tooth. You're holding your breath," he said.

Tooth took a deep breath before releasing it. Then when her eyes landed on Tasha and Hazelia, she turned panicky again as she flew towards them.

While the rest of the fantasy folks and guardians were gathering around Hazelia and Tasha, Manny walked towards North.

" What happened, North?" Manny asked.

" We were fighting all kinds of monsters but then suddenly they disappeared, so we came just in time to find... to find these," North said sadly. " I am so sorry we are late." he added.

Manny sighed.

" Well, North. What's been done cannot be undone. We just get to clean this mess up now. We need your sleigh now, Hazelia's fainted and Tasha... I'm afraid that she's not going to make it," he told North who gasped.

" That's bad... alright. Let me send them back to the academy." North nodded his head before walking to the two unconscious bodies.

He and Bunny lifted Tasha into the sleigh, her skin painted with black thorns, and Tooth and Mother Nature lifted Hazelia into the sleigh, placing the unconscious girl beside Tasha's body.

North then climbed into the sleigh and flew away.

" Now, guardians, you go back to the academy while the rest of us clean this whole up," Manny ordered.

" Oh, I think it would be better if you and the rest go to the academy. You're all in a mess. Let us Nature Guardians fix all these damages." Mother Nature suggested, already kneeling down and placing both her palms on the ground.

The ground trembled and soon trees started growing out of the earth. She nodded towards a girl with sky blue hair and eyes who waved her hand and a gust of wind caught up all the fallen branches and leaves. Then Green made a pulling gesture and the branches and leaves floated towards her where she made a leave pattern. The pattern absorbed all the branches until there's nothing left on the ground, only earthly soil.

" Okay! We're ready to plant!" she called out.

Mother Nature nodded and turned to Manny.

" See? We'll finish it in no time," she assured.

" Okay, then. Folks, let us head to the academy." Manny said and soon they all left the forest towards the academy.

When they reached the academy, North was already in front of it. This time, Hazelia was already sitting in the sleigh, though her head was swaying. She was placing her hands on Tasha's head and her hands glowed but it quickly dimmed again.

She tried again but the same result appeared.

" She is not giving up! I tried stopping her since she is losing a lot of her energy but she kept on muttering everything is her fault!" North exclaimed, then talked to Hazelia who shook her head weakly before continuing what she's doing even though her powers were not working.

" I have to! It's my fault! I... I did all of these!" she suddenly shouted and ran a hand through her hair before covering her face with her hands.
