Chapter 27

" Okay... everybody set to go?" Y/N asked the girls, looking at each of them as they stood in the room with Tana and Tulip. 

They all nodded. They thanked the twins and walked out and met with the boys with two others they don't recognize in the living room.

" Who are they?" Rapunzel asked, gesturing to the two young men.

The one with dark hair and eyes sauntered forward.

" I'm Rook. And this is Colin." he said and glanced at the other boy, this one with light hair and eyes, who nodded at the girls without a twitch of smile on his face.

" Er... okay," was all Rapunzel could muttered.

Then she smiled brightly. " Well, I take it you two are new, yes?" she asked.

Rook nodded.

" And you're Princess Rapunzel of Corona... how did you know we're new?" he asked.

" I used to stay here. Anyway, Rook, you must've heard of the other legends too, don't you?" Rapunzel asked.

Rook nodded again.

" Yeah... I know all of you. But may I know who's H?" he asked back.

Hazelia raised a quizzical eyebrow.

" H? You mean the nickname Jack gave me?" she asked, smiling politely.

" W-well... yeah. Hm, you don't look like what he describes you," Rook said.

Hazelia's smile faded.

" What do you mean? He? He who?" she asked again.

" Well, you're in big trouble," Jack whispered to Jack Dark whose face turned paler than he already was.

" Jack Dark. He said Colin reminds him of you." Rook replied with a shrug.

Hazelia stared at Colin who stood emotionless before glaring at Jack Dark.

Jack Dark thought she was going to kill him right then and there, but to his surprise, she slowly turned around and walked away without a word. Rook looked at them all curiously.

" Did I said something wrong?" he asked.

Jack shook his head.

" Just... don't dwell on that topic again." he stated before walking out of the house with the others to find Hazelia talking to Amelia and Mr. Duff.

" Okay, Mr. Duff. I think we need to go now," Y/N said.

Mr. Duff nodded.

" Of course. Will you visit again soon, Ran? Bring along your friends if they like it," he said.

" We will if we can. Goodbye for now." Rapunzel replied before hugging her foster father and sister and waving at them as they walked out of the gate, opened by Mr. Frank.

" Enjoy your adventure!" he called out.

" You too!" Rapunzel called back.

Then they walked ahead.

After a few more minutes of walking, they came to an ice cream shop called "Creamy Delight".

" This is it," Rapunzel said cheerfully.

Then they went inside.

" Ran! Long time no see!" a girl with chestnut brown hair and blue eyes called out from a booth in the shop.

" Brenda!" Rapunzel exclaimed, running to the girl and giving her a hug.

" Oh, you visit us again!" a young man in his twenties approached Rapunzel before giving her a small hug.

" Yeah, and you guys need to sit, what I'm about to tell you may be a little or a lot shocking," Rapunzel said.

The young man and some other workers sat at the booth along with Brenda.

" Okay... I'm not really Ran Daniels," she began. They all looked at her with faces that read "I knew it!". " I assume you've guessed it. And I'm actually Rapunzel." she added.

" I don't think so... more like, Princess Merida," Brenda stated.

" Nope. We're switched... Mer, why don't you speak?" Rapunzel asked Merida who only looked at them all.

" Nice to meet ye all," Merida greeted.

Brenda and the workers all gasped and smiled.

" Whoa... it's so cool. I mean, meeting the legends for real!" a woman in her early twenties exclaimed.

" Anyway, I'm Drake," the young man from earlier introduced, he got dark hair but his eyes were a light grey.

" I'm Chloe," the young woman said, she got pale white skin, and brownish blonde hair cut into a bob.

" Hailey and Bailey," a girl and a boy said in unison. They're twins, only they didn't looked alike. Hailey had black hair while Bailey had dark brown hair. One thing they shared in common were the green shade of their eyes.

" Kiara," an olive skinned girl not older than them introduced, she had dyed neon green hair and orangey-brown eyes.

" Tanya," another girl said, this time with dark skin and her hair was a colour between black and a very dark brown and her eyes were brown.

" Eric," a boy said, he had black hair and hazel eyes.

" And finally, me. I'm Brenda... and no, I'm not a worker here, as you can see I don't wear those black aprons. I work at a craft shop not far from here," Brenda introduced.

" Well, hi," the legends all greeted in unison.

" So... can we help you with anything, legends?" Drake asked.

" Oh, we're no more different than you lot, you don't need to call us legends, y'know. We're only fantasy folks," Jack said.

" And for what I know, me and Tash are not legends... yet." Jack Dark chided in.

" Yeah... we never heard of you two," Brenda said.

" Well, I'm Jack Dark," Jack Dark introduced.

" The name's Tasha, Tasha Evans." Tasha joined in with a sweet smile.

" Okay, nice chat. Let's get down to business. Punzie?" Y/N said.

" Oh, yeah. Right, we need some cinnamon powder... are there any left?" Rapunzel asked.

" Oh, there's lots of it! Chlo, would you do the honour?" Drake asked.

" Coming right up!" Chloe exclaimed cheerfully and then stood up from the booth and disappeared from sight.

" Why do you need the powder for?" Tanya asked.

" We need to change back into our original bodies." Rapunzel said, gesturing to herself and Merida.

The mortals just nodded in understanding.

" Here you go! A packet full of cinnamonny powder!" Chloe said enthusiastically and handed the packet to Rapunzel.

" Okay, so we've got what we needed. And I guess we need to go... thanks so much guys for your help!" Rapunzel exclaimed, hugging each one of them.

" Sure! But... are you in a hurry?" Drake asked.

" Unfortunately... I'll visit again soon. Bye!" Rapunzel promised, waving at her friends who waved right back.

They all then walked out of the ice cream shop and smiled. Another ingredient to go.

" You sure had a lot of friends, Punzie," Y/N commented.

" Well... I am too polite," Rapunzel said with a hair flip. Then they all laughed.

" Right, next stop. Janice Harris's house." Y/N whispered into the snow globe and threw it on the ground as the same swirly vortex appeared, ready to swallow them.

She looked at the others and they jumped in one by one.
