4:35 pm

Lilia crawling all over the bed is what wakes me up from the few minutes that I was asleep.

"Princess, is mommy not allowed to sleep? You've been sleeping for almost two hours."

"Eat." She says.

"Are you hungry, babe?" I pick her up, laying her down on my chest.

This usually gets me a few extra minutes of rest, but not today.

"Eat!" She yells.

"Okay, okay." I place Lilia next to me and get out of bed.

"Eat!" Lilia repeats.

"Come on." I pick her up and walk to the kitchen.

"Mommy doesn't feel like making dinner so I'm gonna give you a snack then we're gonna go eat."

I place her in her high chair and grab a banana from the island. I cut it into pieces and give them to her before going back to my room.

I put my shoes on before going to Lilia's room to get her shoes. When I return to the kitchen, Lilia is almost done with her banana which is surprising because she always plays with her food before actually eating it.

"Let mommy put your shoes on, Princess." I put one shoe on the counter and work on putting the other on her foot.

Once that's done, I let Lilia finish her banana before taking her out of the high chair.

"Let's go eat." I grab my keys and my purse before leaving the apartment.

I walk to the car and open the backdoor, buckling Lilia into her car sear before getting in myself.

"Let's go to Panera. Panera is delicious." I drive out of the parking lot and take the highway to Panera Bread.

We eat here a lot, mainly because its right next to Target and we also go to Target a lot. I'm sure we're gonna go there after we eat.

5:02 pm

I ordered mac and cheese for me, and I already know I'm gonna share with Lilia because I can't ever eat anything without sharing it with her. That's what happens when you have a baby. Especially a baby girl who has a big appetite like her mama.

"I feel like mac and cheese is your favorite food, Lily."

She whines the second she swallows the food and doesn't stop until I give her more. Sometimes she doesn't even wait until she's done.

5:33 pm

"Alright, time to go to Target." I stand up, placing Lilia on my hip.

I leave the restaurant and walk back to my car. I would walk to Target but that just means I would have to walk back after we left and I don't know that I'm in the mood for that.

I keep Lilia in my lap while I drive across the parking lot to Target, call me a bad mom if you want but it's literally a 5 second drive. She would get really pissed if I put her in her car seat just to take her out a few seconds later.

Once I park in front of Target, I get Lilia's stroller out of the trunk and put her in it. I walk into Target not expecting to buy anything, but that's definitely unrealistic.

I already have three things and I've only been in there for ten minutes.

I'm looking at toys for Lilia when I hear man say 'ow', something hit the floor, and Lilia laughing. I turn around and see a very attractive man picking up a toy off of the ground.

"I think your daughter dropped this." He says.

"Did she drop it or throw it at you?" I raise an eyebrow.

"She may have thrown it." He laughs, giving the toy to Lilia.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, she's adorable so that makes up for it." He winks at her and she smiles.

"Thank you."

"Yep, beautiful, just like her mom." He winks at me too and I blush.

"Thanks." I laugh.

"You're really sweet.. and kind of cute."

"Kind of?" He smirks.

"Maybe a little more than that." I giggle.

"Well thanks. What's your name?"

"Ariana. This is Lilia."

"I'm Justin. Nice to meet both of you."

"You too."

"Can I have your number? I wanna take you out sometime."

"Definitely." I take out my phone as Justin takes out his.

"Wait! I'm not breaking up a relationship or anything, right? I would feel really bad if I did that."

"No, you're not. Thanks for asking, though. That's really sweet of you."

We exchange numbers and talk for a few more minutes before Lilia starts getting cranky.

"I'll text you. It was nice meeting you, Ariana." Justin starts to walk away and I smile.

"You too, Justin."

My whole day has just been made.
