Ariana's ex-boyfriend is moving back to Arizona, leaving her and their daughter alone in California. Ariana doesn't know what to do since her family is back in Florida. She's raising her daughter by herself, until she meets Justin. He comes into her...
"Ugh, fuck." I groan, burying my face in my pillow.
"Do you want me to get her?" He asks.
"No, I got it. Thanks, though."
I roll out of my bed and walk to Lilia's room. Just like every morning, she's using the bars of her crib to stand up and cry for me.
"Mama!" She starts jumping up and down and I smile.
"Let's change that diaper of yours." I lay her on her changing table and grab a diaper.
When I'm done, I throw the old diaper away and pick Lilia up.
"And now time for your bottle, as usual." I walk to the kitchen and grab a bottle from the fridge.
After warming it up, I give it to her and walk back to my room.
"Good morning, love." Justin says.
"Good morning!" I say, laying my child on the bed.
"I was talking to Lilia." He says.
"Oh. Whatever. I don't like you anyways." I shrug, sitting down.
"Good morning, babe. Are you happy now?" Justin pulls me into his lap and I try to hide my smile.
"Yes."
I lean down to kiss him, but we're interrupted by Lilia, throwing her bottle at me.
"Ow!"
"That didn't hurt. It's just milk." Justin says as Lilia takes her bottle back.
"Inside a bottle. It's very heavy, if you haven't realized."
I look at Lilia and she smiles, holding her bottle in the air. She only spends about 10% of the time with her bottle actually drinking it. The other 90% is spent playing with it/throwing it. I feel like all babies do that, though.
My phone dings from my nightstand and me and Justin both look at it.
"Who the hell is that bothering me? I don't like to be bothered." I groan.
I reach over to grab my phone, to see a reminder.
"That's some bullshit." I put my phone back down and look at Justin.
"What is it, baby girl?"
"I have a doctors appointment today. I completely forgot."
"Oh, really? Haha!" Justin laughs and I roll my eyes.
"Shut up, ugly. You're coming too." I smirk.
"You're not my mom."
"I didn't say I was. I said you're coming with me."
"I was gonna come anyways, but because you told me to come, I'm not going anymore."
"Yes you are." I get up and walk to my bathroom to get ready.
"What time is it at?" Justin asks.
"10:30 am."
"I'm gonna go to my house and get ready. I'll be back in an hour. Do you want me to bring you something back?"
"Starbucks! Vanilla frappe. Thanks, love you, bye." I turn on the shower and go to grab everything I need.
I also get Lilia since there is no one to watch her, so now she'll be showering with mommy.
8:24 am
"You made that take a lot longer than it should have." I say, wrapping Lilia in her cute little panda towel.
She just giggles, flapping her arms around.
"You're adorable, princess."
I grab a diaper and put it on Lilia before placing her on the floor.
"Be good while mommy gets ready, okay?"
I give her one of my old makeup brushes and start doing my makeup. I don't do a full face, just a little bit, because I don't feel like doing all that just to go to the doctor.
Once I'm done, I do my hair and walk into my room, where Lilia already is.
"What have you been doing in here, babe?" I ask her, walking into my closet.
She follows me, pulling at the clothes on the lower racks.
"This is why I don't let you in here. Come on, cutie."
I leave my closet without even choosing what I'm gonna wear, because I don't have time for Lilia messing up my organization. I go to the kitchen to get her some yogurt melts and return to my room, only to find her pulling wipes out of the container I left on my bed.
"Of course. I can't leave you alone. I don't know how I haven't learned my lesson."
I give Lilia her yogurt melts and clean up the mess she made before finally going into my closet to find something to wear.

I'm obviously not going to a party or a club so I dress in something comfortable that I can wear when I get home too.
"Your turn, Lily. Can your yogurt melts wait?" I ask, picking Lilia up.
She doesn't seem very happy that I took her from her almost empty bottle and yogurt melts, so I grab the bottle and walk into her room.
I place her on the floor while I look for something for her to wear.
"You're gonna be comfy like mommy today. Is that okay?" I pick out Lilia's outfit and start to get her dressed.

"You actually wake up extremely cranky, but the world doesn't need to know that." I bring Lilia back to her snack and grab her diaper bag from the floor.
There's still plenty of diapers and a container of wipes to last us for at least two days, so all I need is a couple changes of clothes and her snacks.
"Baby, follow mama. We're going to the kitchen now." I place Lilia on the floor so she can crawl behind me, or try to use the wall to walk, whatever she chooses.
9:01 am
"Okay, I think we're all good. Who's ready to go to the doctor?"
