"We're here!" I say.

"Yay! Disneyland." Tara says, taking out her phone to Snapchat this monumental moment.

"Tara, what do you think from your first view?"

"It looks magical. Like it's supposed to. I love it already."

"That's great. Lilia, are you ready to spend the entire day here?" I ask.

Lilia just giggles.

"I'll take that as a yes. Alex, have you ever been here?" I ask.

"No. I've been to Disney World, though. We went when I was little for a family vacation."

"Why would you go all the way to Florida from Arizona if you can come here."

"I don't know. Apparently Disney World is better."

"Well, actually it is. It's bigger and it's a whole world instead of just a land. They have more stuff too."

I find a parking spot close to the actual park since we have a baby and we all get out of the car. Alex takes Lilia's stroller out of the trunk while I get Lilia from her car seat.

"You wanna see Mickey and Minnie Mouse?" I ask her.

She beams at the mention of Mickey, but Minnie was never really her favorite.

"It's ready." Alex says.

I nod, turning to place Lilia in her stroller. I buckle her in and put her diaper bag in the compartment under it.

"Okay, let's go inside."

I already have the tickets for Tara, Lilia and me, but since Alex coming was kind of a last minute decision, he has to wait in line to get one. We were going to wait with him, but he told me to just go ride some stuff and play some games and he'll call us when he's done.

The line isn't too long, but it'll take about 10-20 minutes for him to be in front.

I push Lilia's stroller with Tara leading me, which is a terrible idea, seeing as she has never been here. I literally came here on every break from school, a multiple times every summer, I even had my first date here. Not with Alex, of course, but with my ex from high school.

"I love this place. I feel so alive!" Tara spins in circles, almost bumping into a few people until I tell her to calm her nerves.

"The best rides are the kiddie rides. They're a lot more fun then they should be." I tell her.

"That sounds like where we're going." I tell Tara the way to the kids rides that Lilia can go on, since she wants to be in the front so badly.

We also have passes that allow us to get in the front of lines so we don't have to wait. Alex could use that right about now, but I don't think that's how it works.

"This one, this one! It's my favorite colors! Yellow and pink." Tara points to literally the first ride she sees and I laugh.

She takes Lilia out of her stroller and I put it with the rest of the strollers, since this was a ride for kids, and there was so many.

We get to ride the next time it goes, seeing as we are VIP's.

"Lilia, are you ready to go on your first roller coaster?" I ask.

Lilia actually looks terrified, but she'll be alright since I'm holding her. While we're waiting for the very short time that we have to wait, I text Alex and tell him that he'll find us at the kiddie rides.
