"Mommy's done, baby. You ready to go home?" I say, grabbing my purse.

She crawls towards me and I smile, picking her up.

"I love you."

"Mama!" She says.

I leave my office and lock the door. I won't be back here for 3 whole days.

"Bye, T. I know you'll miss me tomorrow, but I know you can make it through." I walk into Tara's office and she looks up at me, a frown on her face.

"Shut up. I would rather be off on Monday instead of Friday."

"Yeah, well, that just makes Tuesday feel like Monday and that's even worse. Either way you get a Monday so I couldn't care less. Love you!" I blow Tara a kiss before leaving her office.

"Miss Grande? Leaving so soon?" Mr. Hill stops me outside of his office and I groan in my head but put a smile on my face.

"Oh, of course. You know the drill."

"Yes, I do. I haven't seen this little cutie in a while."

"Yeah, my baby is growing up. She'll be 10 months in about two weeks."

"That's amazing. I guess I'll see you on Monday."

"Yes you will, unless you wanna give me the day off."

"No, I think you'll be fine at work. We have a meeting Monday anyways."

"Oh yeah, that. If I call in sick, don't think anything of it. Just accept it."

"Of course I will. Have a nice weekend, Ariana."

"You too, Mr. Hill."

I walk to the elevators and press the down button. I'm so ready to go home.

5:46 pm

"Home sweet home. Now to be here for 72 hours and do absolutely nothing."

I take Lilia out of her car seat and walk to the door. I unlock the door and walk inside, immediately placing my daughter on the floor.

"Baby, will you be okay if mommy goes to get her stuff from the car?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, she'll be fine." Justin comes out from my room and I scream.

"Damn, I forgot you were gonna be here. You didn't have to scare me like that. You could've been sitting on the couch or something when I came in." I say.

"No, scratch that, because I probably would've still been scared and dropped my child."

"Chill, babe. It's over." Justin comes to hug me and plant a kiss on my head.

"I missed you for these last 5 hours. Did you have fun at work?"

"Absolutely not. I was extremely bored."

"I'm sure. I'll go get the rest of your stuff. What do you need?" Justin walks to the door.

"Just my purse and Lilia's diaper bag."

"Alright, be right back."

He walks out of my apartment and I turn to Lilia.

"He's great, isn't he?"

She just smiles as I turn on Mickey Mouse for her.

"Be good, okay? I'm gonna go change."

I walk to my room and change into some more comfortable clothes before going back to the living room. Justin has returned and placed both bags in a chair by the kitchen, and now he's sitting on the floor playing with Lilia.

"You two are cute." I say, taking all of the leftover food and bottles out of the diaper bag.

I put the bottles in the sink and the snacks on the counter to deal with later.

"Now, I'm gonna make a smoothie. Justin, do you want one?" I say.

"That depends on what you put in said smoothie. I just don't like pineapples." He stands up and walks towards me.

"I don't put those in smoothies, nor do I have any right now. So you're good?"

"Perfect. Thank you."

Justin sits at the island watching me pour the ingredients into the blender, then blend it all together.

"Done. It looks amazing, doesn't it?" I say.

"It looks perfect, like you."

Justin smirks, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"This is delicious. I'm impressed." He says.

"That's great."

We both sit down on the couch and watch Lilia watch Mickey Mouse until she gets bored and comes to bother us.
