"If you buy one more thing for that child I will slit your throat. Buy something for yourself, or your man!" Mom says.

"That was extremely violent. Lilia is always growing so she always needs new stuff. Don't judge me."

"I am judging you. Very hard. I'm not letting you buy her anything else. She has enough for now. I challenge you to buy a few things for yourself and Justin, to give to him when he gets back."

"Fine, mommy. I'll try." I sigh as we leave Zara, where I just spent almost $100 on my baby.

"Where do you like to shop for yourself?"

"Forever 21, Rue 21, Zara. All of the above."

"Let's go there. I'm sure you can find something for Justin too. Then we can go to J.C. Penney's and Macy's. Your Nonna and I love shopping there."

"I'm sure. For all your elderly woman clothes." Mom, all you wear is black. You haven't already bought every black thing they have?"

"Believe it or not, I haven't. They're always putting new stuff in stores, Ariana. I don't know why you would think such ridiculous things."

I laugh, shaking my head. Nonna walks ahead of us, since she thinks we're "walking too slow", and she's right because I'm pushing Lilia in her stroller and it's very hard.

Right as that thought crosses my mind, Lilia starts screaming and crying for literally no reason whatsoever.

"Hey, hey. What's wrong with you, child?" I stop pushing the stroller and walk around to look at her.

She points to her pacifier that had fallen into her tray, like she couldn't pick it up and put it back in her mouth. My daughter is such a brat.

I give her the pacifier and she puts it in her mouth, then spits it back out and starts crying again.

I sigh, picking her up and holding her the rest of the way to the store.

"No wonder she's such so spoiled." Mom mumbles.

"Hey, I heard that. If my daughter wants to be picked up, she'll get picked up. Don't hate, appreciate."

"Okay. Whatever you say." We walk around Forever 21 and I find some stuff for me and a lot of stuff for Justin.

My mom has to basically drag me out of the store because I kept finding stuff.

"I was just doing what you told me!" I shrug, following her and Nonna to Macy's.

I don't find one thing for myself or Justin, not even a thing for Lilia. I'm just so used to a certain style of clothes to buy for us and Macy's does not have that.

"Now that we're done with that, how about lunch?" Nonna asks.

"Sounds good. I'm starved." I say.

"Olive Garden is right down the street. That sounds delicious to me."

"As long as they have good food and not a long wait, I'm gucci. Let's go!"

We leave the mall and pack all the bags in the car before getting in and driving to Olive Garden.
