Chapter 28
Clyde's POV
I walked towards the large house in terror. I honestly didn't know what to expect as when I walked inside the house to find a long hallway with dim lights. "In here." called a loud deep voice. I looked to the room the voice was coming from. The room was small, with a few pictures that adorned the wall. There was an Italian looking guy probably in his mid 30s sitting in a chair across the room. He smiled evilly at me, and it was down right creepy.
"Hi." I said quietly. "Hello Clyde." The man said. He paused for a moment and continued, "Do you know who I am?" I shook my head no. "My name is Christian, and I'm the current leader of a fairly large gang." Christian said. I didn't really know what to say, so the only word that came out of my mouth was 'okay'. "I want to talk to you about your friend Drew." Christian said looking at me with no emotion on his face. I took a deep breath and told myself to be strong. "What do you want to know about Drew?" I asked seriously. Christian smiled deviously, "Well as you may know, Drew has a a sister named Kira, and her father was Drew Conners. Hunter Conners died so that made Drew the new gang leader, but Drew died shortly later, so that makes your Kira the leader of this gang. So I need to find Kira, and I know you know where she is." Christian said in all seriousness.
I half expected a TV show host to pop out and tell me I was getting pranked, or something. No TV show hosts came, and I realized this was a real life situation. If I didn't choose my words carefully I could end up six feet under.
My heart was beating insanely fast, and it felt like it was just going to come out of chest at any moment. I swallowed my fear and spoke up. "What makes you think I know where Kira is?" I asked defiantly. Christian frowned at the tone of my voice. He leaned over the table and looked me straight in the eyes. "I know of your relationship with Drew so that means you definitely know where Kira is, and if you don't tell me where he is right now I will kill you, your family, and anyone you care for." Christian said harshly.
Bad move, bad move. Being defiant against a blood thirsty gang leader was probably not the smartest decision I've ever made.
I was speechless. I couldn't find the words to express my feelings right now. "Don't think I won't stay true to my word." Christian said as he relaxed into his seat, putting me on edge. "I honestly don't know where she is." I answered truthfully. "Lies!" Christian yelled, pulling a gun out and pointing it at me. "I swear!" I squeaked pushing my chair back.
Christian lowered the gun and sighed. "I know you have an idea of where she is, and you're going to tell me." Christian said walking over to me. "The last time I saw Kira, we had a fight. She's unpredictable, and you'll never know what she's thinking unless she tells you." I said letting the tears roll.
I couldn't let Christian hurt Kira. Even though we weren't on good terms right now, I just couldn't let him find her. She was there for me when I needed her, and now I need to be there for her even though she doesn't know it.
Christian slapped me hard, and I let out a cry of pain. "Fucking useless, that's all you women are." He snapped his fingers, and immediately piercing boy came in. "Take her away from here, and make sure nobody hears from her again." Christian said to Carter.
Carter shot me a sympathetic look as he came towards me. He threw me over his shoulder and took me out of the room to 'never be heard from again.'

Carter's POV
I didn't really want to hurt Clyde, she was actually starting to grow on me. I had to get rid of her though, or else Christian will be after me.
"Are you really going get rid of me?" Clyde asked in a small voice. I sighed and shook my head. "It's not the right thing to do." I answered. "But what is Christian going to do to you?" Clyde asked concerned. "I'm going to have to leave the country. I'll be fine though, I have some family in Australia I could live with."
Once we got outside I slid her off my shoulder and made sure she was steady on the ground. "Well do you need a ride anywhere?" I asked her. She nodded her head yes. "Can you take me back to the restaurant please?" Clyde asked. "Yea, sure."
I opened the door for her and she slid into the seat strapping her self in. As I was putting the key into the ignition, Clyde leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. I turned in her direction, looking at her with wide eyes. "I just wanted to say thank you. I know this is really dangerous and risky for you." Clyde said smiling. I smiled back. "it's nothing. You have to move out of the area though, because if you stay at your current house Christian will find you and kill you, and Drew too."
When we got to the restaurant we said our goodbyes.
"Thank you so much." Clyde said grabbing me in a hug. "Anytime." I said.
I watched her walk into the shop alone to wait for her boyfriend, and I knew I was going to miss her a lot.
