Max's POV

It was actually really easy. Finding Clyde, I mean. She was never very good at keeping her mouth shut, so naturally it was quite easy to find her.

I watched her leave the apartment in distress, something was obviously bothering her. The look of frustration came across her beautiful features. I continued to watch her walk down the street and I continued to follow her, ducking behind a corner every time she looked behind her.

Clyde then went into a bakery and stayed in there for a few minutes.

My assignment was to kidnap Clyde and fly her to our base in North Carolina. For some reason they wanted her to be accessible to Drew, but they haven't told me why yet. I've learned not to question any of my assignments because I've seen what happens when you do. Let me say it's just not pretty.

Clyde left the bakery with a grin on her face, which suited her better than that ugly frown. I watched walk happily down a dark a street. Not a good decision Clyde.

Clyde suddenly stopped to take a picture, causing me to bump into her. She turned around flustered and said, "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there." Once she saw my face, she stumbled backwards in fear. I found it quite funny that she was so scared of me. And to think, we were dating at one point in time. Seems so far away now.

"Hey babe, did you miss me?" I smiled sending her a wink. "I, uh, leave me alone." Clyde said trying to think of what to do. It was honestly really cute the way she fumbled about in fear. I could watch her reaction on repeat. "No can do sweetheart, I have directions from the boss to get you to North Carolina." I said throwing her over my shoulder. She yelled and squirmed, hitting me in the back repeatedly. "Let. Me. Go." Clyde said angrily. I chuckled at how utterly adorable she was being, I'd have to kidnap her more often.

After about a mile Clyde stopped resisting. It was good she stopped too, Because even though she's tiny she can pack a punch.

"Max, please. Just let me go." Clyde said trying to reason with me. "Why would I do that?" I sighed. "Because you're a person who's nice enough to realize I've been through too much for this." She replied, which came out more as a question. I began to chuckle at her reasoning. "Babe, you and I both know that's not true." I said, continuing to chuckle. "Please." She sighed.

Once we made it my car, which I had to park so inconveniently out of the way, I started to duct tape her wrists and ankles. "Is this really necessary?" Clyde frowned. "It's my job." I shrugged. "Why are you even doing this job." Clyde groaned. I shrugged again, still not knowing the answer to that question. She began to physically shake in fear. Thoughts of our last encounter probably running through her head.

We began to drive, listening to some random rock song to get rid of the awkward silence. I couldn't help but watch her continuously shudder,

"Clyde?" I asked her, briefly glancing over to see what she was doing. "What do you want." She snapped, glaring at me. "How are you not crying and screaming out in fear?" I asked her. "I-I don't really know. I know I should be terrified for my life, but I'm actually just really cold" She said looking out the window. I didn't reply, if I was her I would have probably shat my pants. "I still think there's good in you Max. You don't have to do this." Clyde said, touching my forearm.

The situation looked quite awkward. She had her wrists taped together, and she was still trying to comfort me. Clyde was still a genuinely good and kind person, even after all the shit she's been through.

I pushed her hand away and shook my head. "Don't you realize what's going on?!" I said raising my voice, which made her cower into the corner of the car. I glanced over at her again, and her eyes were wide in terror. I had done that to her. "I am your fucking kidnapper, I raped you Clyde!" I continued to yell.
