Chapter 7
Clyde's POV
Oh my God. I love you Nicole, but please.
"Your mother and Garret were such a cute couple! They were my otp!" Nicole squealed with delight. "Uh, otp?" I asked confused. "Oh, one true pair. that's not important though! I heard about you and Max." she said with a mischievous smile. all the blood drained out of my face. "How do you know about that?" I asked. "Kira." Nicole and Drew said at the same time.
I had forgotten Drew was sitting in the corner. He hadn't said one word this whole time. He just needs to get over himself, honestly.
"Uh, it was nice talking to you and all but I really should be going." I said offering a small smile. I really didn't want to hurt Nicole's feelings, but damn the lady talked a lot. "Oh yes! Your boo." Nicole said winking. "Yea.. my boo." I said smirking in Drew's direction. "So I'll see you later?" I asked Nicole. she smiled and nodded her head.
I started down the sidewalk when someone grabbed me into an alley. I tried to scream but the person covered my mouth. I was about to bite the person's hand, but I was knocked out.
---
I woke up in an empty room. I tried to get up but I was tied in a chair. I screamed loud, but something told me that wouldn't do any good.
I waited around for a while, until some guy came in. "Who are you!?" I yelled. he smirked, and looked at the floor. "Hello?! are you deaf?!" I screamed, beginning to get agitated. "I'm Alex, a friend of Nicole's." he said looking up.
This guy was Nicole's friend? this guy looked like a serial killer! His deep brown eyes and stubble made him look super creepy. "How come I don't believe you?" I ask. "Do I not fit her friend description." He asked gesturing to his attire. In all honesty, no he didnt. "Not really. All of Nicole's friends are-" I didn't get to finish my sentence because he firmly put his hand on my shoulder making me gasp. "Listen girl, I am not your friend. If anything I am your enemy." he said fanning my face with his cool minty breath. "that's great and all, but can you untie me?" I ask trying to pull my face away from his.
He frowns, "Why would I do that? You could get away!" he stated. I sighed heavily. "I am a teenage girl, I am not a sumo or wwe wrestler. I can not take you down." He frowned and started untying the ropes. little did he know is that I am a black belt in tae kwan doe.
As soon as he as he untied me I flipped over him and ran out of the room. Unfortunately for him, he left the key in the lock, letting me lock him in. I smiled in success until I realized I didn't know how to get out of here.
I glanced left and right, but this place was huge! I would never find my way out. From the inside, it Looked like an office building. White walls and water dispensers was all you could see down the empty halls.
This place was downright creepy.
The lights flickered once in a while, not helping it be less creepy. Desperately trying to find a way out, I looked to my left and saw a God given gift. A big red exit sign.
I ran out into freedom.
