Once again this chapter is not edited.

P.S.
Let me know if you guys have some suggestions on the story because even if I already have plans for this story, your comments and suggestions will be of great help.

--------------------------------------------

Nothing is constant in this world except change. I've heard that saying a million times already and it always proves its point. Having your grandparents and paid helps as friends is pretty lame for a teenager and unfortunately that was my case for so long I just learned to deal with it and be grateful for they are still my friends and I wouldn't change that for the world.

This past few days have been a rather turning point in my monotonous life. From the schools outcast with no friends of her age to still an outcast but with new friends, fourteen new friends to be exact and although all of them are guys, who am I to refuse.

Nathan, my first friend here, is not part of my other friends group. He belongs to the popular group which as you all may already know consists of the cheerleaders, jocks and even those who are just plain popular like Coleen. She is not a cheerleader because she doesn't know how to dance, she is not flexible and she would rather sit looking pretty. It makes her feel more powerful. Nathan is nothing like them. He likes a quiet place where he can relax and read, he doesn't boast and he doesn't bully. He is friendly and also a gentleman.

On the other hand, my other friends who I may say can compete with the popularity of the populars are a commanding presence in their own rights. They're the bad boys. They don't bully but you wouldn't want to be on their bad side coz when you are, the safest way to avoid their wrath is leave the school and might as well leave the state or country. They're a powerful group not only because they can beat the shit out of you but they are also filthy rich. From a family of lawyers, to owners of hotels, security agencies, hospitals, airports, construction companies, technological companies, food chains, you name it, they got it. Some even supplies war machines to the government. And another thing, due to their friendship, their families also became friends, creating merges and such. So when I say that they are a force to be reckoned with, they really are.

They don't allow others to join their group. They were known to reject other students who wants to join them that's why I was so shocked when they let me in in their group.

Coleen will flip when she learns about it but as my request, we are keeping our friendship as a secret till my birthday so that I may have already left the house when Coleen will know. Anyway, its a few more weeks and I'll be free.

My friendship with Nathan is going strong and he sometimes tells me that he wants more. I just thought that he was joking but by thursday, during lunch, he told me that he was serious.

"Why wouldn't you believe me?" Nathan asked, his brows knitting.

"Because! I'm the outcast, I'm a nobody!"

"No more you're not! Your with me now, and as long as your with me, no one is going to hurt you."

"Its just, I've never been in a situation like this before."

"There's always a first time for everything. I would be honored to be your first boyfriend. You don't know how happy I will be if you say yes." He said looking at me hopefully.

I stared at him and for a strange reason, I don't feel good about getting in a relationship with him. Maybe because I am afraid that what we have now will be ruined if we level up our friendship into a more intimate one.

"Why don't we just try it. If it doesn't work out, then we'll still be friends coz I don't want to loose you and I really like you Skye. You're so different from the others, your like a breath of fresh air." He said while grabbing hold of my hands.

I sighed. I didn't know if  its the right decision but maybe this will work. "Okay, but if it doesn't work we'll still be friends."

He smiled so widely and then hugged me fiercely. He looked so happy the little bit of doubt in me disappeared.

"You'll never regret this, I promise you that." We looked at each other and smiled.

Changes might be for the better or for the worst but I guess this time for me, it's for the better.
