Here's chapter 2! Sorry in advance for all the typos! Not edited.

-------------------------------------

I have never seen my grandparents so mad before and I am so glad I am not the one they are glaring daggers to coz I still wanna live. It's almost funny and I have this urge to laugh but I remained silent and emotionless although I am pretty sure the grands know I'm glad their here.

"I cannot believe that you are abusing my granddaughter! How long has this been happening? And you better not lie coz I know when a person is lying." Grandma all but shouted at Miranda while glaring.

"Uh, I-I did n-not do anything."

"You lying bitch! We saw what you did. You had the guts to lie to us huh? And what kind of mother are you? Allowing kids here to drink alcohol in the middle of the day. I believe John is not aware of this, am  I right?"

"Um, uh-uh?"

"You better get those kids out of here and go to the library and we'll talk about all of this."

As always, grandpa takes control and led me and grandma in the library. By the time we reached the library, I was shaking with laughter and even the grands were trying to contain their laughter.

"You guys are awesome! Their faces, my gosh! It was epic! Anyway, I miss you guys!"

We hugged each other and went on the couch while trying to catch up. They were telling me about  their trip to the Philippines and its great beaches when the witches came into the library without knocking.

Much to our surprise, Miranda is smiling smugly and Coleen is smirking.

"I talked to John and he said that its ok for the kids to party." Miranda said in her high pitched voice its a miracle we can still hear.

"Let me guess, you did not tell him about the alcohol. Are the kids gone ?" Grandpa asked calmly.

"Of course not! Coleen will be humiliated if I send them home."

"You better do as I say or I will do it myself, and believe me, your daughter will be more than embarrassed with what I'm planning to do."

With that, my grandparents stood up to leave the room.

My weekend was fun and because the grands are here, both me and the helps can breath just fine. Tomorrow is monday and in less than a couple of months I'll be eighteen and will be leaving this hell hole. I just hope that I can survive before my birthday.
