Dad is away again and I'm left with the witches here at home . I rarely see my dad anymore. Either he's overseas, at the office or is spending time with the witches. You see, even if I'm his daughter, it seems like I'm invincible. The times he does notice me is when Coleen, my step sister or Miranda, my stepmom, tells him I've done something wrong or something horrible to them and even though its the other way around, he believes them and I get reprimanded for the things I haven't done.

I stopped hoping for my dad to notice me as his daughter a year after he  married Miranda. I was 7 when they got  married and for 10 years , I have been trying to survive in this household. There are only two good things here, first is that the people who work here are good to me. We help each other out especially if  the witches are at their worst mood swings. Another good thing is that my grandparents visits as often as they can and they hate the witches with a passion. If  you already guessed then yes, they're my mom's parents. I love then both so much, in fact, they know all my secrets and dreams and they never failed to support me.

A few months from now is my eighteenth birthday and the day after my birthday is the day I leave this hell hole. My grandparents knows my plans and even the hired helps. The grands have already bought a house for me and the helps are either going with me or will be working for the grands. The only reason they stay here is because of  me and when I leave then they leave as well.

Today is saturday and since school starts on monday I got nothing to do but try to hide here in my room. It won't be long till one of the witches finds their way here in my room and do who knows what. The grands are coming tonight and will stay till monday so I get to enjoy the witches squirm their asses off. A lot of people get intimidated by my grands and believe me, they can be pretty nasty if you get on their bad side. Coleen has been trying to impress them whenever they come but what she doesn't know is that they know what she and her mom do to me and the helpers, they just don't do anything because I have ask them not to. I know you must think I'm stupid but its just not worth it, I don't want them to stoop to the witches' level.

The ringing from my phone snaps me from thinking and I tried to scramble to my feet to get to my phone. Without looking I quickly answered it.

"Yeah?" I answered while heading back to my bed.

"Sweetie we're just 5 minutes away. I forgot to tell you we will arrive earlier since your old man here can't wait to see you." Grandma speed talked I can almost see her breathing hard after her tirade and my grandpa rolling his eyes at her .

"You guys this is cool! I'll be waiting for you downstairs." I said already rushing out of my room .

"Ok sweetie! See you in a bit! Mwuah!"

Before I can respond she already cut  the call. Shaking my head I headed down to wait for them.

On my way down the stairs I saw the witches on their way up. It is inevitable for me to make my escape so with a sigh I just proceeded downstairs.

"Well well well, if it isn't the good girl! What are you doing here? Go stay in your room, I don't want Coleen's friends to see a looser like you here." Miranda sneered while Coleen full blown laughed like a maniac I swear my ears are gonna bleed.

Deciding not to tell them my grands are gonna be here any minute now, I just acted like I do all the time which is being nonchalant and never caring.

"What time are they gonna be here?" I asked devoid of any emotion.

"Their already here so you better get back up to your room and don't come out till we tell you to."

As soon as Coleen said that, I heard her friends making noises. I ignored the witches and went to the kitchen and drink water.

When I was drinking, Miranda grab my hair and screamed in my face.

"Listen here skank, do as I say and we won't have a problem. Now go before I slap that ugly face of yours!"

"What is the meaning of this!"
