CHAPTER 21

As predicted, Sunday morning's papers were full of last nights event. We were still in the hotel having brunch since we've woken up late. Aside from goofing around, we discussed what precautionary measures will be done by tomorrow.

Light and I were seated beside each other and after last nights' confessions, we've grown considerably closer. It's as if an imaginary wall has been removed. Even though we haven't talked of our relationship and his opening up of his feelings to me, a silent agreement between us have been made. I may not have told him if I also like him, which I do, but he seem to understand that I'm not yet ready to commit to him.

After our brunch, the guys played by the t.v. while Feiye and I talked to Chelsea about my schedule and security. Several clients have scheduled for lunches and dinners. Feiye and I were incredulous. I'm still in high school and they want to have lunch with me. For all I know they just want to match me with their sons. I made the mistake of voicing that out because before I knew it, Chelsea and Feiye were teasing me about Light. They just won't stop squealing and nagging me that I confessed that I like him. Of course I realized my mistake when they didn't stop but instead, their squeaking intensified that if they didn't stop I might drive myself to lunacy.

"Will you two stop that! You guys are driving me crazy!"

"Did you tell him you like him when you two talked last night? Is that why you're a lot closer today?" Feiye excitedly almost jumping at her seat.

"No I didn't." I answered closing my eyes for a few seconds to calm myself.

"But why? He likes you!" Feiye whined. I would have laughed at her but I was intrigued.

"He told you he likes me?"

"No silly, everyone knows, it's pretty obvious that he likes you. He follows every movement you make when you're in the same room as he is and he looks at you differently." Feiye answered rolling her eyes at me.

"What do you mean looks at me differently?"

"You are so naive and clueless it's not even cute anymore!" Chelsea exclaimed to which I retaliated with an indignant "Hey!". They just laughed at me again and Feiye explained.

"He looks at you with tenderness, with softness almost with love. He doesn't look at others like that, just you." My heart started to beat a lot faster with that new knowledge.

"What do I do! I'm not ready to get into another relationship yet! I don't want to hurt him but I want to make sure that if we level up our relationship and it doesn't work, our friendship will also suffer! I don't want to loose him and if I loose him I might loose our entire group!  What should I do now!" I started panicking and rambling that Feiye being my best friend and all smacked me right on my head.

"Calm down will you! There's no loosing everybody here coz you two are meant to be together! Trust me I have psychic powers!" Feiye snapped. I almost believed her up until her last sentence.

"If you're still unsure of entering a relationship then don't force yourself. Do it when you feel it is the right time. In the meantime, talk to Light. Tell him of your fears and he will understand." Chelsea advised. I beamed at her and hugged them both.

After our conversation, Light and I talked. He understands my fears and is willing to wait on the condition that I won't entertain any other guys. I agreed since I have no plan in getting closer and trusting others just yet.

"If I'm not allowed to entertain other guys then so will you." I pointed out.

"You do realize that we just made ourselves exclusive to one another do you?" He informed me teasing.
