The reaction I was expecting never came. I thought they'd be shocked but they seemed to expect our news. Light was also sporting a confused expression.

"You two were too obvious of your feelings we expected to see you two together. We just didn't expect you to work it out that fast." Mr. Stanton explained to our obvious confusion.

"I'm so happy for you both! I knew, even when you were still kids that you two will end up together and I was right! You've always relied on each other when you were kids, always doing everything together. You were glued to each other and it's a relief that you found each other again." Mrs. Stanton told us tearing up. "Oh come here you two and let me hug you again!" When we went near her she pulled us both and hugged us fiercely.

After our emotional encounter, with me also tearing up from their acceptance, me and Light then left to break the news to my grandparents.

We walked holding hands, smiling at each other while heading to the elevator. We paid the gaping employees no mind and left the company too happy to notice them taking pictures.

When we arrived at my house, my grandparents were waiting by the garden with Ben and Ana. We wasted no time and told them of our relationship. They were surprised at first then hugged us, congratulating us both.

"This sort of news will only fuel to your coming out Skye. Are you two sure your going public with your relationship?" Grandpa asked concern written on his face.

"We're sure grandpa, if we delay it then it'll be another craze for the media. Why not let it all out at once. Besides, I've arranged for added security to all of us even with you Aunt Ana and Uncle Ben. When they dig up that I worked for you two they'll mug you so much better to be prepared. Don't worry about the security, they're very discreet and will not interfere on your daily routines unless needed to." I assured the elderlies.

They soon left for their dinner since they've already booked their table. We hanged out by the garden trying to remember what we did when we were kids while laughing at our mischiefs.

We went to the dining room when a help told us that dinner is ready. We sat besides each other and started to eat. We were just a few minutes ahead when the witches joined us. Both of them plastering fake smiles on their made up faces.

They took a seat in front of us and while the help set their food down they greeted Light.

"It's nice to see you again Light." Coleen said fluttering her eyes at Light.

"Yeah." Light rudely replied.

"So, how's being an heiress feel like Skye?" Coleen then turned to me, her smile filled with menace.

"Fine." I answered sounding bored.

My answer seems to fuel her anger I wouldn't be surprised if she started snapping her teeth at me. Light and I ignored the two and continued eating. When our dessert came my mouth watered. I have a serious case of sweet tooth especially with chocolate. They served us with chocolate cake and I was in cloud nine. Light smirked at my eagerness and fed me a forkful of cake. He laughed when my mouth was full my cheeks were bulging. I then fed him a large portion of cake and we both started laughing with our mouths full. When we managed to swallow it all down, he wiped a crumble near my lips.

"Are you two together?!" An outraged voice cut our staring contest and we turned to the witches who were angry and surprised.

"I don't see how that is any of your business." Light coldly answered Coleens' question.

"Oh it is my business!" Coleen spat angrily.

"And pray tell us why?" Light mocked.

"You don't deserve someone like her! She's a whore just like her mother!" She's too angry to realize what she's saying and Miranda started to grab her daughter. That seemed to snap her back to reality.

"You should remember that you two are at my mercy. Try insulting me or my mother again, try doing anything that'll piss me off and you'll experience first hand what I'm capable of doing. I've been lenient to you, letting you hurt me  but that won't happen again." I said coldly and started to stand up with Light following my action.

"Are you threatening us?!" Miranda said outraged.

"That is not a threat, it's a promise." I said and left the dining room.

I went back to the garden and sunk back at the hammock. Light joined me and just hold me not uttering a word. When I calmed down, I broke the silence.

"We didn't finish eating the cake." I whined. Light laughed at me and kissed my head.

"You're too fucking cute." He said kissing my forehead this time. "I'm proud of you baby girl, you're finally standing up for yourself."

"Yeah, me too. I don't wanna go to school tomorrow Light. I don't want to see those who hated me start being friendly now that they knew who I really am." I told him worriedly.

"If it gets too much for you we'll leave, okay? You have to face them tomorrow, you can tell them to shove their heads to their asses for all you care." He said jokingly and somehow, that settled my worry.

"You're so crude sometimes." I jokingly mocked.

"You like me being crude." He retorted smirking.

I laughed and admitted. "True! But that does not mean you should act crude all the time. Agreed?"

"Fine." He agreed rolling his eyes. "I have to go baby girl. Wait for me tomorrow I'll come fetch you." He said standing up. He took hold of my games and pulled me up. We walked towards his car.

"I'll see you tomorrow baby girl." He said then kissed me.

"Yeah." I answered dazed.

Later that night as I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling did all of what happened started to sink into me. I have a boyfriend and I had my first kiss. I grabbed my pillow and screamed and giggled, trashing my bed. I suddenly felt like jumping and squeezing the life out of my pillow. As the hype settled down, I reminisced what had happened and felt like screaming again. I never felt this way with Nathan. With Light, it just seemed so right, so meant to be. I finally fell asleep smiling after much trashing and giggling.

I had a bad day and poof! I wrote a whole chapter in minutes. Writing does calm my nerves and relaxes me.
