CHAPTER 25
Of course I'm not gonna get abreak the next day. Tuesday turned out to be Fuseday. The short fuse to my inner bitchiness was put to the test and after years of being stomped upon like a dirt I fully embraced my fierce persona.
Gone is the girl who chose to stay silent and let others hurt her. She will no longer be afraid and scared, she will fight for what is right and protect what is hers. The
The moment I woke up Tuesday morning, I knew my day will not get any better. As soon as Light and I arrived at school, students tried to get near me and engage in meaningless talks. Light didn't leave my side but remained silent and let me handle the situation. If I start to get rude they'll talk about it, if I ignore them they'll talk about, if I talk to them they'll brag about it and never leave me alone so what choice do I have. I just politely answered their greetings and avoided them like plague. Most of the students here have parents who either work for my company, products of merges or vying for merging. Somehow I have to keep them at arms length.
Classes were the same with the difference that for once I was not listening. I was thinking of what's gonna happen this evening. Chelsea texted me before classes starts and told me that my father will be back later this day and that the meeting with Miranda will be this evening.
A thought that's been bothering since last night is where the hell did Miranda get a hundred million dollars without the knowledge of my father. As much as I hate my father, I pity him for what Miranda and Coleen did to his life. Those two witches are first class leeches and I will gladly get rid of them if given the chance. The rest of the day I was distracted and my friends respected my silence and left me to my thoughts once I told them what happened last night and the meeting later on.
By lunch I was in a sour mood and is praying for a moment of peace. Coleen broke that peace and decided to dampen my mood more.
"Is it true?" She asked looking at me in disgust.
"Is what true?" I asked back not bothering to hide my irritation.
Surprised by my response it took her a few seconds to respond. "You're meeting with my mom tonight. Is it true?" She asked again and this time with caution.
"Why are you asking me that?" I asked again deciding to push her buttons.
"Just answer my question bitch!" She hissed mindful of the students listening to our conversation.
"Now don't be like that Coleen, you're the one who needs something from me so don't expect me to give it to you with you acting the way you are right now." I mocked.
"Well what do you expect me to do huh?!"
"I expect you to apologize to me for calling me a bitch." I said and gave her a toothy grin.
"I will gladly get my head shaved than apologize to you, you bitch!" She said hissing.
"Fine." I said and put my back on her and began eating my lunch. I heard the guys chuckling and Feiye barely managing to contain her laughter.
Coleen must've lost her cool because the next thing I know was my lunch flying out of our table. Silence quickly filled the surrounding and I slowly turned to Coleen and her minions. Coleen was breathing hard, her face contorted in rage and her stance in defensive mode as if expecting me to retaliate. I just stared at her and waited for her to fully release her rage.
